"Oh, God! I can't do this!"

"Brooke, breathe."

"But Kelly, He's gonna get tired of me, what if he wants to move to New York... and... and..." Brooke babbled while hyperventilating.

"Will someone go get her mother!" her best friend Kelly hissed to the rest of the room. Three women rushed out of the bridal suite, "you're going to ruin your make-up sweetie."

Brooke shook her head. Her response was cut off by the door opening again.

"I couldn't find her mother, will her brother do?" asked a bridesmaid.

"Matty!" Brooke cried out as he stepped around the girl holding open the door.

"Brooke what..." he was cut off by her body instantly clinging to him. Matt sighed and wrapped his arms around his little sister, "wanna tell me what's going on?"

"I'm not good enough for him," she cried lightly laying her head on his chest.

Matt smirked and shook his head, "Kells, can you give us the room?"

She smiled and nodded, "I'll go help look for your mom."

Once they were alone Matt slowly peeled his sister off of him, "hey," he said gently.

"Hey," Brooke sniffled.

Matt grabbed the box of kleenex from the vanity and held it out to her, "wanna tell me what's going on?"

"I'm scared," she replied then blew her nose.

"Of what B?"

"What if I'm a terrible wife and he leaves me?"

Matt laughed loudly and Brooke glared at him.

"Wait, you're serious?"

She nodded her head and plopped down on the loveseat.

"Brooke, that man LOVES you," Matt pulled a footrest in front of her and sat down. He took her hands in his and squeezed them gently, "he's loved you since we were ten years old. You know when we were fifteen, he asked me if he could date you and I told him, 'no'."

"What?" Brooke asked with a gasp.

"Yeah," Matt chuckled, "then he asked me every month on the same day for a year and a half before I finally caved. Threatened to beat him bloody if he ever hurt you."

"Why would you do that?"

Matt shrugged, "It's what big brothers do."

Brooke rolled her eyes like she did every time he said that.

"Would it make you feel better to know that his brother just had to calm him down too?"

"He did?" she asked timidly.

"Yeah, he did, as I said he really loves you. So much that he was having a panic attack about you leaving him because he wasn't good enough for you. Which makes me believe you two are perfect for each other."

She sniffled lightly and gave her bother a small smile, "thanks, Matty."

Matt stood and tugged gently on her hands pulling her up with him to envelope her into a hug.

"I love you, Matty."

"I love you too B," Matt kissed the top of his sister's head, "hey, since I saved the day and all think I can get Kelly's number now?"

Brooke laughed and pushed her brother away, "no."

"Why not?"

"You're not dating my best friend."

Matt snorted, "that's rich considering you're about to marry one of mine."

"I think that's my cue to make my presence known."

Brooke gasped and Matt jumped. He turned quickly to face who intruded on their moment, "jeez mom, give me a heart attack at twenty-five would ya."

"I think you'll be fine Matthew," she said, "your father is in the groom's room with the rest of the men. Please go tell him to be here in twenty minutes."

"Yes, ma'am," he knew when he was being dismissed.

"How long have you been standing there?" Brooke asked as Matt pulled the door closed behind him.

"Since he told you about your future husband's panic attack," she answered, "what do you say we fix this make-up and get you into that pretty dress."

Brooke smiled at her mother and nodded her head, "yeah, I'd like that a lot, mom."

Dean stood on a balcony under the light of the full moon. His arms wrapped around his wife from behind. It's moments like these he was so happy she had a breakthrough six years ago in her research. While she hasn't cured lycanthropy she has developed a series of medications to make transitions easier and symptoms tolerable. After being attacked it took her almost two years to get back to work. Dean made sure that he supported her every step of the way.

"Brooklynn looks so beautiful tonight," Rachel said pulling him from his thoughts.

"Just like her mother," he cooed into her ear.

Rachel just giggled and rolled her eyes.

"Thought we'd find you two out here," called Ben as he and Megan joined them.

"Just getting some air," Dean said releasing his hold on Rachel and turning to face their friends.

"They're about to do the flower and garter toss," Meagan said. "Figured we'd come to get you because rumor has it, Matthew is determined to catch the garter tonight."

"Yeah, if Kelly catches the bouquet," Rachel laughed.

"He does know that doesn't guarantee him an in, right?" Asked Ben.

"Who knows," sighed Dean. "How's Bryan doing? Is Dylan still not talking to him?"

"As best as he can. He's still hoping there's something there, refuses to tell me what happened. All I know is he is trying his best not to mope about his broken heart at his brother's wedding," Megan explained.

"Did you see Chase's face when he first saw Brooke walking down the aisle?" swooned Rachel.

"Yeah, if he wasn't about to marry her, I would have been knocking his teeth in for looking at my baby girl like that," Dean griped.

Rachel elbowed him in the side playfully, "it wasn't that bad."

"I had the VIP view remember."

"He hasn't been able to take his eyes off her all night," Megan gushed.

"You know what I just realized," Ben said, "we're all finally a family now."

Rachel, Dean, Megan, and Ben shared a smile then a laugh at the statement.

Cheers and wolf whistles alerted them to the upcoming events. They quickly made their way back inside to enjoy the rest of the wedding reception as one big happy family.

THE END.
