Ben smirked as he stepped into his partner's apartment and heard a feminine giggle.

"Well that explains why he isn't answering his phone," he mumbled to himself. He made his way to the kitchen to start the coffee pot when he heard his best friend loudly gasp, "holy shit," and then the shower turn on.

"This could be a while," he mumbled again.

Forty-five minutes, fifteen news reports, and two cups of coffee later a half-dressed Dean strut into his kitchen.

"DUDE!" he yelled and jumped as he noticed Ben sitting at the breakfast bar, "you scared the crap out of me, what the hell."

Ben snickered and shook his head, "having a good morning?"

"Yeah," Dean made his way to the cabinets, pulled out two coffee cups, "thanks for starting the coffee, saves a few minutes. Why are you watching the news?"

"No problem," he replied, "had to do something to drown out Rachels moans."

Dean gave Ben a smug smile then continued his task.

"So, you know how she takes her coffee, must be serious," Ben said with a smirk as he watched his friend make a second cup of coffee.

"Morning Ben," Rachel practically sang as she entered the kitchen.

Dean ignored Ben's comment and gave Rachel a funny look as he handed over her coffee, "how did you know he was here?"

"Heard him come in," she said casually as she kissed him on the cheek then turned to start some toast for them.

"How? We were in the shower."

Ben saw her pause for a moment, her eyes grew wide then closed tight as she mouthed an explicit word.

"You mean he didn't just get here?" She asked keeping her back to Dean to hide her face.

"You would make a terrible cop," Ben said quickly to end their conversation and take the heat off her a bit. "Your observation skills are crap."

Dean laughed lightly as he got out of the jam from the fridge.

"Hey!" she gasped, "my observation skills are just fine, thank you."

She gave him a grateful smile as he winked at her, "no clue what you're laughing at chuckles." Ben continued, turning his attention to Dean, "you ARE a cop and didn't even know someone was in your house."

"Eh, I was distracted," Dean smiled and shrugged his shoulders.

Ben watched as he grabbed a butter knife from the utensil drawer then kissed his girlfriend on the cheek when he picked up a set of already toasted bread. Dean buttered one then smeared the fruit spread on the other. He finished just as Rachel turned around and placed another set of toast in front of him. He did the same with that set as she cleaned up the crumbs on the counter and put away the toaster. Ben shook his head as Dean picked up both pieces of jammed toast kissed Rachel lightly whispered 'love you' and slapped her ass as he walked out of the kitchen.

"Did you two get married and forget to invite us?"

Rachel rolled her eyes, "What are you doing here so early?" she asked looking up at the clock.

"Megan is still at work and the sitter kicked me out as soon as she got in this morning. Said I was being too loud and was gonna wake Chase before he was ready to get up," He replied with a shoulder shrug, "like it's a crime to wake my own kid."

"Nanny," Dean corrected as he walked back into the kitchen shirt and tie on. "Babe, have you seen my black blazer?"

"Do you live here now?" Ben asked raising an eyebrow at Rachel.
