Lauren's pov

I get to the hospital and ask for my moms room, when I get it I run to her room

"Mom?" I say, she was hooked up to so many wires, I frown and feel tears come to my eyes

"Mom" I say my voice cracking

"Ms?" I hear, I look behind me to see the doctor

"What happened?" I Ask, he looks at his clipboard

"She was found in her house beaten, the people living next door heard yelling and screaming, they phoned the police and police found her like this" he said, I nod and let the tears slip

"My dad" I say, he frowns

"My dad did this...he's abusive, please my brother and sister are still there" I say, he nods and goes and tells someone, I sit next to my mom and hold her hand after a while he comes back

"Their going to arrest him" he said, I nod and look at my mom

"Will she be okay?" I Ask, he shook his head

"No..I'm sorry but we think she won't make it" he said, I nod and let the tears fall

"How long?" I Ask, he looks at the bored again

"We don't think she'll make it through the night" he said, I nod and kiss her hand

"I love you mom" I say, he leaves and i stay there all night

3:45am

A long beep fills the silent room, I get up and yell for a doctor, they make me leave the room and I stand there sobbing, after a while they come back to me

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry" a woman doctor said, I push past everyone and to my mom

"Please mom, please" I whisper, I grab her cold lifeless hand and kiss it

"We'll give you a moment" someone said, I nod and say my last goodbyes to my mom

"But now you'll never see me preform with her...this should be dad not you" I cry, I hug her lifeless body and kiss her cheek

"I love you" I say, I pull back and see the door open

"Ma'am" a man said, I nod and walk back after kissing my moms head one last time, I walk out and to my car, I sit there and cry I drive after a few minutes and end up at Camila's house, I look at it and text her

Lauren:
I'm a dick I know...I'm sorry

I get up and bang on her door until she opens it

"What?" She asked, I grab her and hug her crying on her shoulder, she rubs my back as I sob

"Hey, shhh" she said, she pulls me in and sits me on the couch

"Hey, What happened?" She asked, I rest my head on her shoulder

"My dad...He-he beat my mom to death" I say, she looks at me shocked and I cuddle up to her

"That's why I left..the hospital called me and said she was there..I watched her die Camila" I say, he nods and kisses my head rubbing my sides and back, playing with my hair and soon Dinah came out

"Who was at the door?" She asked, she then sees me and smiles but then frowns as she sees my tears

"What happened?" She asked

"My mom died" I say, she frowns and rubs my back

"You can go bed..I'll go home" I say, Camila shook her head and wrap her arms around me tighter, I smile and cuddle back into her, Dinah went back to bed and me and Camila fell asleep cuddled up on the couch
