A Dragons Treasure

First lesson

Chapter two

The nurse was baffled at the idea of trying to raise a human child in the ways of a dragon. That just didn't happen, it had never happened before. "Igneel you relies you will be responsible for this child's life?" The king smiled while looking at the child. "Well, if I can't have my own offspring why not adopt?" He said while picking up the child and setting him on his shoulder. "Hey Natsu?" He looked up at the child's face. "What?" The young one response. He started giggling again. "How would you like to be Natsu Dragneel?" The little boy laughed. "So am I part dragon?"

Igneel ruffled the boys hair. "Kinda" Igneel said.

They bid there good byes and thank you's to the wind dragons and made there way back up to Igneels chamber. As soon as they made there way if to the chamber Igneel way already over joy with the fact that he had a son that he could teach every thing he knew to. He sat Matsu down on the large bed in the middle of Igneel Chamber. "So Natsu, what do you know about dragons?" Igneel asked his new son. "Umm... Uhh.." He was about to aid Natsu in what a dragon was but Natsu yelled. " don't tell me dad I got this!!! Just give me a sec." Dad. That's what was going through Igneel's head right then and there. Natsu was his son weather or not the other dragons agree. I will protect you my son. He thought. "OH OH OH I GOT IT DRAGONS ARE GIANT LIZARDS!!!" Igneel sweat dropped. "Uhh. Not exactly. Well Natsu, looks like I'm going to have to teach you all about what you are now part of. The Dragons." Natsu looked up at his now adoptive father and nodded excitedly. "Ok we will star with the basics. Natsu what room are we in right now?" Natsu slowly looked around the room searching for a hint in the room. All around them were gold coins jewels and gems. "Is this the treasure room?" The young boy asked. Igneel chuckles and says "well kinda. This is my Dragons chamber, you will have one for yourself and your mate once you reach the age of 18." He paused to see if Natsu was getting this, and with the smile on his face he thought he understood, so he continues "A dragons chamber is VERY important, it is where you, your mate, and your offspring will live together. It is also where you keep all of you treasures safe." Natsu seemed quite amused by all of this, but slowly a confused look crept on to his face. "Ahh... what's a mat?" Igneel was confused what the boy meant, but slowly he realized that he meant Mate. "Natsu do you mean Mate?" The boy nodded slowly. "Well a mate will be a girl, or boy, that you love dearly." Natsu nods once more and then says "But what if you love multiple people?" Igneel smiled at the boys ignorance. "Well you see a dragon can only ever love one person in this way." Natsu was struggling to grasp the idea of what his dad was trying to explain. "Well, how can you tell that they are your mate?" Igneel laughed and said "well son, some say you just know. But from personal experience, you can tell because you will be drawn in to there sent, and you will become very protective over her/him, and finally you become aggressive towards anyone who tries to metal with your mate." Natsu nods slowly laying back on the comfy bed Igneel patted natsu'a hard. "Good night son" and Igneel let Natsu sleep
