Reader,
I am officially marking Once, We Lived as completed. The chapter of my life marked by the final years of (American) public school education (and any incredible teenaged atrocity that I may have to explain to my future children) has come to a close, and, therefore, any work that matches that perspective. I hope the poems brought some of you joy, nostalgia, or a feeling of comradery that only comes when knowing someone else has experienced the same thing.
Thus, I officially move on to university (college is a word I am wary of due to misunderstanding, following my French studies) where I, hopefully, will continue to write, perhaps post again in a new collection also marked by perspective.
We really did live in these times.
Bidding Adieu to yesterday,
Vivant
