"Oh, Well"

She gave them
excuses
for everything they
did

She split her face
in half
with shining white
pearls

She said, "Oh, well!"
when they
gave her mountains of
strife

She consoled their
silvery
tears despite her violent
weight

I screamed at her
threw the
insults of oblivion without
yield

I plastered saliva
to her
allegedly perfect
face

She smiled her
glossy
stare in the mirror
back

I wanted her to
scream in
agony to say she's not
FINE

She gave me
excuses
with a bend of the
head
"Oh, well"
