I miss my Dad...all the time." "I know you do baby, I do too. I'm not saying that I'm glad that it happened. Just that there is a reason for everything. Maybe it had to happen the way it did, so that you could find your happiness." It was kind of a screwed up thing to think that my father had to die, so that I could make the choices to in my life that led me to Colby...but she wasn't wrong. Wow, I made really bad choices until I met him. I smiled at my mom, my eyes a little teary thinking about my dad. "I love you Momma." "I  love you too baby. I'm so proud of you and the woman you've become." I leaned back, wiped my eyes with the arm of my t-shirt, and laughed a little. "Why do you always have to make me cry?" I asked through the laughter. She shrugged, wiping her own eyes. "It's a gift, I guess." Colby walked into the room, his eyes crossing over mine and my mom's faces. "Everything okay in here?" He asked, one eyebrow up. Mom looked at him and smiled, then back to me. "You know, I think your Dad would really like this one. I mean, after he put him through the mill, and threatened him a little." Colby smiled, but it was a confused one. "Huh?" I laughed and got up to hug him. "My dad would have loved you." He brought his arms around me automatically, squeezing me a little. "I'm sure that I would have loved him too." My mom stood up, clearing the photo albums from the table. "Alright love birds, I'm going to go take a bath with these new bath bombs that I got." She put the albums back in the entertainment stand, and headed towards the kitchen. "Uh, Mom, the bathroom is that way." I said pointing down the hall. She glanced back at me and kept walking. "I know that! I need my wine." She yelled back. Colby started chuckling, as I just shook my head. "I love your Mom. For real." I looked up into his eyes, and wrapped my arms around his neck. "You'll be happy to know that she really loves you too. She thinks that I did very well for myself." He smirked a little, tightening his arms around my waist. "Really? What do you think? Do you think you did well for yourself?" I scrunched my face a little, pretending to think. After a few seconds, I shrugged. "I did okay, I guess." He raised both eyebrows at me, a smile playing at the edge of his lips. "Just okay, huh?" "Eh," I replied, tucking my lips inside my mouth to fight the smile that wanted to appear. "Okay," He nodded and leaned his head down, pressing his lips to my neck, leaving a hot open mouthed kiss against my skin. Colby raised back up, meeting my gaze. "What about now?" I let the smile out then, and leaned forwards to kiss him. "I feel a little better about it." "Just a little?" I nodded. "Yeah." He pressed his lips to my neck again, working his way up to my ear, grazing his teeth there, when my mom walked back through. "Don't mind me, just on my way to the bath." Colby and I started laughing, watching her hold her hand out to block her vision of us as she walked through the living room. I leaned up on my tip toes and pressed my lips to his, letting myself get lost in the heated kiss. When we were both breathless, we broke away. "I think that I did very well for myself." He chuckled and pressed another quick kiss to my lips. "Yeah, me too." he replied, then laid his forehead against mine. "You know what we have to do tonight, right?" "I know." He leaned up and took my hand, leading me to the couch. "Have you talked to Kristie at all?" I shook my head. "No. I was too caught up in hanging out with my mom. I'll check in on her now though. What about Chris? Is he ready for this?" Colby laughed. "I think that kid has been ready for this since the first time that dick shoved his books out of his hands in high school. I talked to him earlier, when I was in the room. He's 100 percent ready. This part is mainly up to Kristie though. If she can get him to invite her back to his place tonight, then that's great. If she has to work up to it, then that's okay too. We just need to get started." "She'll have him eating out of the palm of her hand in an hour. Kristie is a force to be reckoned with." He tilted his head to the side and smiled. "I would have to agree. Why are all your friends so damn forceful? and then you're just here all sweet and cuddly?" I let my mouth drop open like I was offended. "I can be forceful." I insisted. I saw his body jerk with his silent chuckle as he looked away from me. "I'm know you can be baby, I was just kidding." "Whatever," I said, poking out my bottom  lip. "I'm going to call Kristie and see what she's been doing to get to Randy." He nodded, and sat back smiling, his sky blue eyes sparkling as he watched me. I pulled out my phone and dialed Kristie's number. She answered on the second ring. "Bitch!" I laughed at her normal greeting. "What's up babe!" "Not a lot, just getting this dickhead all excited for me." She replied, sounding smug. "Are you serious? It's working? What are you saying?" "I started texting him just a little while ago. I just started off with hey and all that bullshit. He wanted to know what I wanted and why I was texting him, of course, since I basically just jumped his ass the other night." She giggled into the phone, and I couldn't help joining her. It was pretty ironic. "So, I told him that he just upset me messing with my friend but that the whole dominance thing was a huge turn on for me. I talked freaky to him a few times about that, and now...hold on, got a new text." I waited a few seconds until I couldn't anymore. "Well?! Is it him?!" I screeched into the phone.
