"I wouldn't put you in that position...unless you wanted me too." Colby said, winking at me. "Okay, you perv," I said, smacking his arm. I need to start packing I guess and see if S needs any more info from me before we leave." Colby stood up with me, and he grabbed my hand. We gave Sam our goodbyes and went home. It seemed like the rest of the week flew by and before I knew it, we were driving to Kansa. It was only about 3 hours or so to Colby's hometown. The closer we got, the more nervous I got. I started drumming my fingers on my thigh and Colby noticed. He reached over and took my hand in his, bringing it first to his lips, then laying it in his lap. He glanced at me and smiled, then looked back to the road. "She's going to love you baby. Stop worrying so much." I shook my head. "You don't know that. I have worry. What if she doesn't like me? What then? How will we deal with holidays and family trips or whatever?" I brought my hand back and put my head in both hands. "I'm freaking out Colby. My anxiety is being a bitch right now and I can't stop it." "Hey, calm down!" He exclaimed, rubbing my back with one hand. I felt us pulling over and I looked up. Colby had pulled off onto the side of the road. He unbuckled his seat belt, and leaned over to me, pulling me to him in a very tight hug. I remembered when I had told him that this helps me, the first time I had an anxiety attack around him. The first time that he had told me that he loved me. My breathing slowed as he applied pressure and I thought of that wonderful day. I wasn't sure that I could love someone like I love Colby...or if I could admit it to myself or him. I remembered what happened after that declaration of love too, and my body started tingling. I leaned my head into the crook of his neck, tasting the warm skin there. I heard his sharp intake of breath and I smiled against his neck. His arms loosed on me and his hands started roaming my back, going under my shirt. I leaned back and pressed my lips to his, my tongue dancing with his. He tasted like watermelon and Colby. I let my hands snake under his shirt, feeling the hard planes of his abdomen and chest, scoring his shoulders with my nails. His mouth became more forceful on mine, his body straining to press into mine, over the middle console. A loud noise suddenly blared, causing us both to jump back from each other, breathing heavily. Colby had accidently laid his arm into the horn, when he shifted to get closer. We met each other's gaze and started laughing. "Maybe Sam's right. We can't be together for more than 10 minutes without trying to get each other naked." Colby huffed out, running his hand through his silky hair, messing it up. I was still panting a little and watching him wasn't helping so I looked towards the road. "Yeah...this might become a problem staying at your Mom's..." I realized. "Oh my God..." He whispered. I looked back at him to find him leaning over the steering wheel with a look of terror on his face. "What? Is everything okay?" I put my hand on his arm, a little worried. He met my gaze. "We can't have sex in my mom's house y/n." I started giggling at him. He was a like a little boy scared of being caught by his mommy, instead of a grown man, about to be married. He blushed, his cheeks turning a deep pink. "I'm serious. I can't do that." I laughed even harder. "Will you stop? Shut up!" He threw a balled up receipt at me that he found in the console, and joined in, laughing with me. I calmed down and unbuckled my seat belt for a minute. Leaning towards him, I kissed him softly on the lips, slightly sucking his bottom one into my mouth, then releasing and leaning back. "Don't worry, I won't tell your mommy." He blushed again and rolled his eyes. "F*ck you." He replied stoically. "Not for a whole week apparently babe! Now let's go meet the family!" I exclaimed. He groaned and we got back on the road. It wasn't long before we arrived in a little community, filled with upper middle class beautiful homes, sitting side by side. He pulled his old Corolla into the driveway of a very nice blue home, with glass sliding doors on the side, with a beautiful wood grain patio attached. "Wow...," I breathed out, quietly. "What?" He asked, looking at me nervously. "This is beautiful." I replied. He shrugged and opened his door. "It's home." He walked around to my side, opening the door for me, and then we started getting our bags from the trunk. Before we could get everything, a sweet looking middle aged woman, exited the front door, looking at us, with her hand shading her eyes. "Colby?" She called out. "Yeah Ma, it's us." Colby replied, shoving one of his travel bags under his arm. She came hurrying out to meet us and enveloped Colby in a tight hug, squeezing him close to her body. I watched as Colby dropped his bags, and put his arms around her neck, resting his head on top of head. He closed his eyes and smiled like a child. I felt a tear prick my eye, so I wiped it away quickly. Why the hell was I always getting so emotional? He just looked so sweet hugging his mom like that. They stood like that for a few minutes before she finally pulled back from him. "Hey Momma. I missed you." She wiped her tears away and hugged him again quickly. "My baby boy, I missed you too! I'm so happy to see you. You should come home more often, ya know. Stop making me wait so long to see you." I smiled to myself as Colby got chided. This was going to be an interesting week. "I know Momma. I'll try."
