After the dinner with Jess I couldn't help but think to myself how shocked she was about the ring.

Since we were getting married very soon. My mom had told me that this might be business but she wants it grand.

So some weeks after that my mom and I had gone to a jewelry store to get a ring.

Mom love every single ring but wanted the perfect one, that's when we saw the one I gave Jess.

It looked perfect to say I wouldn't lie.

Now I am in my study doing some work.

*Knock knock*

"come in" I answered

The door opened slightly, looking up I saw my sister's face as she came in slowly. 'She needs something'

"yes" i said to get her attention which worked

"oh hey jayden. How is your day going? I mean today looks good if you ask me. Right?" she said Nervously as she rubbed the back of her hand and looked down.

In conclusion, she does wants something.
I smile a little as she has been doing this since she was a little girl... adorable but mischievous.

Moving straight into the point.

"what do you want Emily?" I asked.

"whaaatt. Me... Want... Some thing... I Mean I just came to see you so... " she said hesitatingly.

Silence came upon us as I looked up at her as she did the same. But if you ask me It wasn't going to last in 3... 2... 1... And...

"I want to go to Emma's house for a sleepover" she said confessing. Finally

"so how is that my problem? " I asked

"I want to take one of your cars Pppppllllllllleeeeeeeeeaaaaasssssseeeee" she said begging me for the car.

"please jayden, please" she said with baby eyes

"what happened to your car?" I asked

"no gas" she replied with a fake smile

"Really?" I asked with a questionable brow

"Yes" she said with a smile.

"So which do you want?" I asked as I go close to her

"Your G wagon?" She said lowly looking at me with pleading eyes,

"Wha-" I began "pleaseeeeeeeeee" she pleaded

"Ok" I said and with that she started jumping up and down saying thank you.

"OK now bye " I said and with that she left.

Smiling because I never want anything but my family been happy even if they are at times annoying.

After taking a shower I went down for dinner as the whole family had come.

So... This dinner is going to be a long one just to clear the air.

Going to the table I greeted everyone

Silence came over us as we ate well until my mom broke it as she spoke.

"so Xavier boy tell me have you given Jess the ring? " she asked.

"yeah" I answered still eating.

"so what did she say? I mean does she like it?" mom asked.

"she did like it but didn't say much well maybe because we're both rich... I guess"
I answered not been honest that much.

"so she wasn't impressed" mom said with sadness in her voice. Oh no.

"no she did. She loves it. She even... Umm... Said it was... The most beautiful thing she's ever seen" I said as I remembered the shock she was in but didn't say a thing or else all the planets will come together in destruction.

"ohhh. How amazing " mom said happily clapping her hands

"yes that means this marriage will work perfectly" dad said happily .

Well at least they believed the lie.

So marriage here we come.
