This is it.

Today is the day I tell her.

I, Jeon Jungkook, will tell Y/n my feelings.

"You got the flowers?" One of my hyungs named Namjoon asks.

I grab them from my locker and nod.

"Well then you're all set! Now hurry, she just left the school!" He says, patting my back.

"You got this, kook!" Taehyung cheers.

The rest of them cheer for me as I run down the hallway, exiting the school to find her.

Looking around, I find her in her circle of friends.

I wait until they all leave to go to her.

She turns and starts walking.

That's my queue!

I start to run again, yelling her name to catch her attention, "Y/n! Wait up!"

Stopping in her tracks, she turns to see who yelled her name.

"Y/n!" I say again, almost reaching her.

Just as I was about to stop in front of her, my whole being came crashing down.

Everything was perfect.

Or so I thought.

The one thing that was forgotten about my perfect plan was something that I never thought would be a problem.

My shoelaces.

Before I could even realize what was going to happen, I fell.

Flat on my god damn face.

I hear her gasp while I lay on the ground, not wanting to get up as I die from embarrassment.

Y/n stares at me for a bit before helping me up.

I swear, she's probably taking pictures of me.

God, what was I thinking?!

This was a horrible idea.

She would never have the same feelings for me.

A breathtakingly gorgeous girl like her would never.

Few more seconds pass before anything happens and I'm not even sure if she's there anymore.

Then...I feel hands on mine, pulling me up.

"Y/n— I can explai—"

She interrupts me by putting her hands on my shoulders and placing her lips on mine.

The girl of your dreams is kissing you!

Kiss back, idiot!

I wrap my arms around her waist and return the kiss, savoring the moment.

Her lips are so soft and better than I imagined.

Lord, if this is a dream, please don't wake me up.

The kiss ends too soon and she flashes her beautiful smile at me.

"I like you a lot too."

I'm at loss for words, "I- b- wh- you—" She laughs at my flustered self.

"The flowers gave it away. I've been waiting for you to confess for quite a while anyway," She adds, thumb brushing against my cheek.

"I— w....b—..."

I sigh and take a deep breath in and out.

"Just kiss me again," I finally let out, sighing.

She giggles and wraps her arms around my neck, kissing me once again.

Guess my plan was perfect anyway.
