I stare at Jessie's lifeless body and sigh. We were just moved back to our packhouse, and Jessie is in a coma. After the attack, she had to have a blood transfusion because she lost so much blood and fell into a coma, it has been two months, and she doesn't even know that she is pregnant yet. We were so lucky that the baby survived; even though we didn't think she was pregnant, it was still an egg, so blood loss didn't do any damage that we know of.

"Baby, please wake up", I cry, holding onto her hand, just wanting her to wake up. It has been hell for me just watching her sleep. The only reassurance I have is the steady flow of her heartbeat.

I hear the heart rate machine pick up

"Doctor, doctor" I scream, scared of whatever is happening; the doctor runs into the room, and he smiles

"she is finally waking up" I look at him in shock

"really, I question," he nods, motioning his head to Jessie. When I look, I notice her beautiful eyes are staring at me

"here, have some water", I smile, letting her take a sip of water out of my drink bottle.

"How are you feeling" I question her in concern. I watch as she places her hand on mine; her shoulder healed up two days after the attack

"hungry, but fine. Did anyone get hurt?" she questions and states simultaneously, which I didn't even know possible.

"I bet you are hungry, and no one got hurt thanks to you; you were the only one" I smile, making her nod

"what do you mean I bet I am?" she questions, making me laugh

"Baby, you were out two months, and you are pregnant" her eyes fill with tears as she tries to jump into my arms, but the needle digs deeper into her vein instead. I watch as Jessie carefully removes the needle and jumps into my arms

'alpha, we hear she is awake. Can we come to see her?' i hear one of her friend's mind link mee

'come in', I reply before cutting the link off

"your friends are on the way" I smile at Jessie making her eyes light up

"Jessie", I hear Tony and Jamie and amber yell rushing into the room and tearing my mate out of my arms

"Guys, I am pregnant", she smiles before removing herself from them and sitting back on my lap. All I hear is the cheers of excitement.
