They only want your smiles, remember.

The moment you start telling your sad stories,
Their interest in you fades away slowly.

They only like the strong you, believe me.
They only like the strong you.
Be down and weak, then you'll see,
Not more than twice they'll stand for you sweetie.

They only admire the clever you, don't forget.
They only admire the clever you.
Dumb and dull.
Wait, they don't even come to you.

People will never understand you honey, trust me.
They can never.
So, why do you care so much,
When it doesn't even matter.
