TEMPORARY FEELINGS

                                              Forty notifications it showed.
I only scrolled down to see yours,
Yeah, there it is, One like.
Why am I smiling? Why it’s so nice?
                          I see your status every day,
Wish you update a new profile picture every day.
Hope you message me someday.
This repeats the whole day.
                          I like your every post,
I feel like we are the same.
I think you understand me the most,
Maybe I’m just being insane.

                          I can’t hold myself back.
I lose my control thinking about you.
I grab my phone to message you,
But I can’t, this step is so hard to take.
                          I think my heart is slightly calling out to you,
But I have to hold it in, yes, I have to.
I can’t let these temporary feelings ruin our relation,
But now it’s so hard to look normal in your presence.
                          Things might get awkward, if I let my heart speak.
So, I listen to my mind and ignore this abnormal beat.
Yes, it’s the right thing to do.
Cause you’re something special, and I can’t lose you.
