THE WORDS OF MY SILENCE [poems]

IS SMALL AIM IS A CRIME?

They said, small aim is a crime,
And told me to aim high and achieve it in time.
I believed in them and aimed the highest star that is so far to reach.
But, felt helpless all the while, because I never Loved what they teach.

I wonder,
If everyone aims to be a cardiologist, then who'll become a psychiatrist.
If everyone aims to take computer science, then who'll take mechanics.
If everyone aims to go far away, then who'll drive their way.
If everyone dreams of future, then who'll live today.

I searched for the answer and I found it one day,
When I saw, a man mistreating a sweeper for no reason to say.
I saw higher officials using the lower workers for the things they are not meant to do.
Though they don't want to, they are forced to do and we all know that it's true.

And then I understood that we do not follow, DIGNITY IN LABOR.
We don't respect anyone from newspaper lender to a hotel bearer.
Here, in our country, not the importance of work but the salary brings Respect.
So, they told me to aim high, to gain more money and more respect.

But, don't you think this is wrong,
Don't you think, every job has to be respected all along?
Are engineer and doctor are the only professions?
Or you choose them because they are safe and has future assurance.

Let me tell you that, photography and choreography are also professions,
There is no need of future's guarantee card if you have that passion.
We all know this, but still, neither we dare, nor let our children dare,
Because, we consider them as small and risk, but education as big and fair.

If someone wants to be a cricketer, why to discourage him saying, aim high.
Who knows, he may one day play for his country, just let him try.
The coal turns into diamond only after facing 2000 atm. Pressure.
If he loves what he does, he'll definitely consider the pressure as treasure.

Everyone will not top the list every time.
Becoming unable to reach the goal is not a crime.
But, it is only when the situations of life do not let us,
And only when the death calls us.

So, let the children choose their way and walk their own mile,
Don't frighten them saying aim high or by remembering the word Fail.
Treat everyone good and respect every profession.,
Don't miss treat them or don't make hard their existence.

Achievement may be small or big, we have to respect it,
Only then our net generations will dare to step into it.
Remember small aim is not a crime, no aim is crime.
Because everyone has their own heights to climb.
