LIFE ON 50TH FLOOR

Yeh, It's so high,
Feels like I can touch the sky.
Oh! I'm getting late for the party,
No, I'd rather admire this beauty.

Wha! That Moon and that clear night sky,
I can't move, no matter how hard I try.
I want to cherish this every single second.
I wish this night will never end.

In my peaceful home, on my comfortable couch, I sit.
The aroma of coffee is what I'm surrounded with.
Then I rest my legs on my soft cushion,
And leave the curtains wide open.

Now this glass wall shows me the wonder,
The air touches me so soft and tender.
There it goes, my soul surrenders.
Could this be heaven my heart wonders?

My phone's ringing, it's better if I turn it off tonight.
No calls or texts for few hours, Yeah, that's right.
The view of the City is magnificent from this height,
The colorful lights don't make it look like it's midnight.

Such a beauty! Whom to appreciate either God or Man.
Whatever, it's refreshing like my life has just begun.
Ah yes, the party might have started,
But tonight I stay home alone instead.
