On the very first day of their child's birth,
Parents confirm his school admission first.
They start planning their child's future.
Even before he feels the warmth of Nature.

Within 'Three' years of his birth, he's pushed into a cage,
Along with an unbearable load of luggage.
At the age of learning 1,2,3,4.
His intelligence Is judged by the ranks 1,2,3,4.

He cries because he just doesn't understand why,
Why his mother wakes him up at Five,
Why his father wants the marks so high,
Why he has to study something that will not help him to be alive.

He cries because he doesn't want to be a medium for schools to make money,
He dreams a place where every child sings in harmony.
Whenever he tries to fly for his dreams,
The more critical his life seems.

He cries saying, why he hasn't got another way to choose
Except the way to school.
And then, the mother explains, it's all about SOCIETY dear
It's the Ranks and Marks that brings respect here.

We are a Middle-Class people, says the Father.
You have to do this for our Family, tells his Brother.
You alone can never change this SYSTEM, warns the Whole Family,
And finally, they beg him not to turn against the Society.

So, he lets his WINGS down,
And stops dreaming to fly above the Ground.
Because he has to make money,
To run his own family.

This is the situation of every citizen now,
How can we change this situation, please tell me how?
See, we've lost a Bird that can dare to escape the cage,
How can we ever solve life's huge maze?

Every child needs love and care,
Everyone must dare to share.
Because it is the LIFE to be Lived,
But not a DUTY to be Performed.

So, cherish every second you live,
Together we can bring out the change, I believe.
Come on let's raise the voice against this,
It's your life, fight for it.
