Toby's POV

I smiled at the older man named Ash as he took a white lily from the small bouquet and tucked it behind my ear.

"You look adorable with it…" he smiled and gently took my hand.

It was gently kissed and he walked off.

"Goodbye."

I waved even though he couldn't see.

Sigh..

He's nice..

"Someone's cruuuushhhiiiing….~" Leah teased.

I made a face and squeezed my eyes shut, as I stuck my tongue out.

"N-no, I'm not!" I pouted after.

She laughed, "Sure. You like a customer!"

"No I don't! He's just..nice!" I stuttered. Her smirk only grew.

"Cmon..You should go out with him!" she nudged me.

I shake my head again.

Your relationship with Masked Man will become worse.

Do it anyways, why would you care about anyone's feelings?

No one cared about yours. No one ever will.

The voices snickered and laughed, hissing as me.

No, people do care.

Where? The only person that actually did care about you left this world a long time ago!

Leah's POV

I smiled and went on. He looked down, I assumed I was embarrassing him.

"And then you'd—"

"SHUT—UP!" Oliver yelled.

I winced and took a step back.

He ripped his apron off and ran out the door, slamming it behind himself.

Masky's POV

I was placing down the second plate I had on the table when I got a phone call.

I walked away, telling someone I had to take a call.

When I saw it was Toby, I sighed and answered.

"Hel—"

"M-mas-s-sky.." he whispered shakily.

My eyes widened and I almost panicked.

"What, what happened?" I questioned.

"T-the v-voices.." he whimpered over the phone.

I couldn't say anything before Toby spoke again.

"I-i want you here with me..please..I'm in p-public and they're all looking at me.." he cried.

I nodded slowly and slightly.

"I'll be there in a minute.." I started heading towards the door. When I was asked where I was off to, I gave no reply to anyone.

Soon I was in the car, driving a quick 25-30 minutes.

But by the time I got there, Toby was being comforted by another person.

I raised an eyebrow and went over to them. I could see his head be tilted up, and the taller man leaned down.

"Tobe–..Oliver!" I called, scolding myself for almost saying his actual name.
