Later That Night

Justin's pov

Well its eleven-thirty and we're all still at the lake.

"Hey Kelly come here for a second" I say

"What's up?" She asks me

"Is Elizabeth alright? She won't talk to me and I don't know why" I ask her

"She's fine just tired that's all" she tells me

"Oh alright well can you tell her that I want to talk to her?" I ask her

"Yeah no problem. You mean now? Or later like tomorrow?" She asks me

"Now Kelly" I say laughing a little bit

"Oh okay gotcha" she says getting up and going to get her.

"Hey you wanted to talk to me?" She asks me as she sits down across from me

"Yeah I do. Okay did I do something to make you not want to speak to me?" I ask her

"No Justin you haven't done anything I promise" she tells me

"Alright then what is it if you don't mind me asking?" I ask her as she looked at me with her beautiful brown eyes.

"I-" someone cut her off. I looked behind us to see Alexandria.

"I thought I told you to stay away" she says as I look at Elizabeth.

"I didn't he said he wanted to talk to me" she says fear clearly in her eyes.

"Alexandria your à nice girl, but we're just friends I'm sorry" I tell her and she walked off and I looked at Elizabeth.

"Is that why you've been avoiding me?" I ask her as she shook her head

"Well now you don't have to worry about it anymore now you can talk to me whenever you want" I say as she looked out at the water

"Yeah I guess I can" she says playing with her hair.

"Elizabeth are you feeling alright?" I ask her as she turned her head to look at me

"Yeah I feel f-fine why?" She asks me

"Cause you've been acting weird the past three weeks" I say as her eyes got wide

"What do you mean?" She asks me

"You've been avoiding everyone and Annie said that your appetite has changed and that you've been being extra careful in the dance studio" I tell her and she looked down at her lap.

"I can't do this to you and I don't want you to have to worry about it. I mean I know it's the end of the second semester, but I-" I cut her off

"Don't want me to have to worry about what?" I ask her as she looked at me with watery eyes. I watched her hug her stomach and look back at me.

"Justin I'm really sorry and I don't know how you're going to react to this, but I was going to wait till we were alone" she says

"Elizabeth look at me whatever it is you can tell me" I say as she took a deep breath in and let it out. Then I heard those three word-

"Justin I'm Pregnant"

I didn't know what to say. I just looked at her and she was about to get up.

"Don't leave stay please." I say as she looked down at me and sat back down.

"Are you mad?" She asked me

"No I'm not mad I'm in shock that's all and it's my fault for not using protection" I say

"Parker told me that we hooked up and Carter told me that you looked like you were really into me at the party" she tells me

"I am into you and how far long are you?" I ask her

"Three weeks and I didn't think someone like you would focus his attention on just one girl" she tells me

"Why do you say that?" I ask her

"Because everyone says that you're nothing, but trouble and that you mess around a lot" she tells me as I gave her a small smile.

"What?" She asks me

"Nothing just thinking about the night we met" I say

"What about it?" She asks me

"Just how you kept looking at me like you wanted more" I say

"What do you mean?" She asks

"I mean you made me feel like you wanted more than Just that. Like you wanted a relationship with me" I tell her

"Oh I felt like all you wanted to do was sleep with me" she tells me while looking down at her lap

"No I mean I didn't think that we would end up sleeping together" I tell her

"Oh okay and I know this probably doesn't matter, but you were my first that night" she tells me

"You mean you never?" I ask her as she shook her head no

"Oh I'm sorry Elizabeth you were saving it for the right person" I say as I laid down on my back

"No I mean yes I was saving myself, but I don't know with you it just for some reason it felt right" she tells me as she looks down at me.

"Really? What about that Pete guy?" I ask her

"Pete my ex? Oh no I mean we were together for three years and we broke up two years ago. I mean I thought he was the one for me, but I guess not" she says

"So what do you wanna do now?" She asks me

"I don't know do you plan on staying in school?" I ask her

"I want to, but I'm scared and I don't know how I'm gonna work on my dance routine with Parker if I'm really having à baby" she says as I look at her

"Hey its what I'm here for and its okay to be scared" I tell her

"Really?" She asks

"Yeah my step-brother Jason has a little boy he's seven and he was scared and excited when he found out he was gonna be a dad" I tell her

"Well how do you feel about knowing that you are gonna be a dad?" She asks me

"Honestly I'm scared, but, I'm excited and nervous" I tell her as I looked at her.

"Well we're in the same boat I'm just more concerned about my mom and if I'm gonna get kicked out of NYU for being pregnant"

"Well you never know how long are you going to be going here?" I ask

"I'm only going here for two years yeah it's supposed to be four, but I didn't have enough money to pay for the rest so I'm going for two. Then it's back to Pheonix I go" she tells me

"You're from Phoenix?" I ask her

"Yeah and I can't wait to go back and see my momma and Emily" she says

"That's great" I tell her as she looked at me with so much curiosity filling her eyes.
