CHAPTER TWENTY SEVEN

"Kook!" Somebody yelled, a voice of an unfamiliar,
"Yugyeom? Is that you?" Jungkook whispered to himself as he stared at the figure running towards hm with open arms,
"It's me! I missed you!" The mysterious boy wrapped his arms around the younger as he engulfed him in a hug,
"Why... How..." The man smiled,
"I'll be back, Kook. I promise. And this time, I won't be letting you go." He compromised,
"But I..."
"See you soon, Kook."
The sun rose up in the sky, lighting the dark void of the night. Jungkook frowned as the sun rays hit his face, waking him up from his deep sleep.
The dream was... A dream, but it felt real. As if the man in his dreams really talked to him in reality. He knew he would be coming back. He wasn't a nightmare, but he might become once he finds out about Jimin. The younger couldn't risk the older to be in danger.
"Kookie~ You look worried. Is something wrong?" Jimin asked as he tapped the man's chest,
"It's... It's just about my dream. Nevermind about that." Jungkook said as he nuzzled his face in the latter's neck,
"Wanna talk about it?" Jungkook shook his head,
"Alright."
The two stayed in that position, wrapped in each other's arms as silence was wrapped around them. Jimin smiled softly when the younger was sleeping peacefully in his arms. He whispered a soft I love you before he too went to sleep.
"How dare you break your promise to me." The man whispered to himself,
"I won't let you go. Not now, not ever. You're mine, Jungkook. And I won't let that man take you away from me." He glared before turning away and walked away.
The couple always believed in the saying Happiness doesn't last long. And oh boy, how right they are about that. Because once this man comes back, it'll probably be the end of their relationship. But Jungkook, he would do anything to make Jimin safe. Anything.
