Merlin smiled cheekily also proud of himself. "I'm a fast learner." He said happily.

Artura was quick to burst his bubble retorting, "I hope, for you sake, that's true."

"Good luck." Merlin said waving Artura off. She shook her head chuckling. Pulling her game face on she jogged over to the stadium prepping herself for the fight.

Her fight was about to begin but before it could Uther pulled her aside. "Arthur," He called motioning her over. She nodded running to his side.

"Yes father? You called," she said smiling. She wasn't excited for the talk her father was going to give her but she was excited for the fight afterwards.

"Remember if you lose this match I will increase you training to triple of what it is now." Uther said seriously. Artura sighed but nodded seeing no point in arguing.

"You opponent is fast and furious. I want you to be on the defense for the beginning then once he seems worn out attack and attack hard. Do you understand?" Uther asked raising an eyebrow.

Artura nodded, "Yes, sire as you wish."

"Good," Uther said satisfied waving her off. "Oh and Artura if you do lose expect more lessons on how to be a proper king. I will also be less lenient on your little outings. This should be easy for you Arthur. Don't underestimate your opponent."

Artura bowed not wanting anymore pressure add or anymore punishments er... extra duties for losing.
                  ~~~~~~~~~~
The fight began Arthur taking defense. He blocked, scurried, rolled, and all other forms of dodging. His opponent was fast and fought harshly, but today Arthur was gracefully and clean.
It became clear to all the knight was frowning tiers and only had so much fight left within him. That was when Arthur strikes making the waiting crowd roar in excitement. Merlin found himself also cheering.
"Is it my imagination, or are you beginning to enjoy yourself?" Gaius had accumulated next to Merlin startling him.
Merlin turned to him shrugging. "It..." He began to say sighing. "It isn't totally horrible all the time."
                  ~~~~~~~~~~
Artura swung her sword at his open side turning her blade to the side so she wouldn't slice right through him. He fell over his sword being thrown far away in the process. Artura pointed her sword at his chest grinning behind her helmet. She always loved a good fight and this young man was amazing.

The bell rung signalling the end of the fight. Artura took off her helmet as the crowd went wild. She had won her fight once again which meant no upset fathers!

Artura can here Merlin from the sideline cheering loudest of all. "Yes!" He cried clapping like crazy. A small smile developed on Artura face.

Artura walked off the grounds feeling like she could fly. Merlin run up to her instantly helping with her armour. "Great job."

She nodded her head in appreciation. "Of course." Merlin rolled his eyes she was a bit too cocky for him.

"Now once you get this blasted armour off I will allow you to watch the rest of the fights before you have to polish my armour once again. So the time is your." Artura said as Merlin swiftly took her armour off.

After her fights she was to sit with her Father and Morgana. She didn't mind since they all could talk strategy with each other. None were left out and her father gave her... kind... advice on how to best be the opponent that had won.

This fight had Morgana more interested than most. Artura figured it out before they announced who was fighting. She had seen the way Morgana glanced at Knight Valiant.
