Hehe, so for the next two Saturdays we are going to discuss a serious topic, (at least in my opinion they are serious) the use of black culture in Korean media. If you're not interested, I understand, this topic is very sensitive to some, and just not important to others, BUT as a black girl that listens to K-Pop I feel as though I should talk about how I feel personally about things that I have seen.
~In this part we are going to touch on two topics, the debate about weather it's okay for an idol to where braids/dreads or not and we are also going to discuss the use of blackface (Oomp yep)
~In the second part we are going to discuss BTS' looks in Korea vs in the United States, and Truedy and her looks.

~It's just not appropriate in my opinion, I'm not about to do a long rant but, when black people wear weaves it has a longgg rich history behind it, as for Asians or just non-black people they use it as a style just for "fashion"
~every time someone wears braids in the k-pop Industry they are usually rappers, they use the hairstyle to associate themselves with black culture (cuz rap is originally associated with black people) it's like what are you tryna do, catch our attention?! Like you are but in a bad way....ooooomp
~lastly WHY YALL JUST GET MAD AT JACKSON AND CHAN BUT KAI, LISA, AND I FORGOT THE OTHER DUDE NAMEEEEE FROM BIGBANG WORE DREADS TOO!!?!?! Hmm?!??
~I also don't have much to say on blackface other than they should get it by now!
