This is the second part to a Legends of Tomorrow ficlit in which John Constantine is a father and all the misadventures that follow. If you haven't read the first part you can still read this chapter, but I recommend reading the previous chapter which is conveniently located in chapter before this one. This chapter picks up right from where the last ended. Enjoy!

Letting out a deep sigh, John Constantine leaned against the wall beside his daughter's room. It had been an exhausting few weeks. From being suddenly forced into fatherhood, to having to deal with his daughter's rapid aging, it had been a lot to take in.

"Hey, how you doing?" A gentle voice asked.

Looking up John came face to face with Ray, who looked just about as tired as John felt. Ray had really stepped up to help John, as much as he hated to admit it.

"Hey Raymundo. I'm doin' just fine. Tired. I never thought this is what I was going to be doing."

"I know what you mean. Well not really, well kinda. I never thought I was going to be dating the daughter of one evilest villain we've ever faced. But that's not really the same. Nora told me about what happened earlier, is Zarina alright?"

"Yeah, she's alright. That little bugger really got to her, and that's on me. I've been pushing her so hard, but I keep forgetting that she's really just a babe. Even if she doesn't look it, she is only a few weeks old. God this is so crazy." John muttered running a hand through his dark rooted blonde hair.

"Well, maybe after she's rested, we could all do something, the Legends. Something fun. Normal." Ray offered gently leading John away from Zarina's door and towards John's room just around the corner from his daughter.

"Normal eh? With these dysfunctional lunatics? Be one big happy family?" John scoffed looking at Ray incredulously.

"You'd be surprised, we can be normal enough for one event. Like a picnic. Normal, but not needing to be too public."

"Well, I think about it later, when I have energy to think. Night-" John murmured, giving Ray a quick pat on the shoulder before retreating into his room.

Flopping onto his bed, John stared at the dark gray ceiling. 'Oh Johnny boy, what have we gotten our self into this time?'

A bright light shone against Zarina's eyelids, forcing them open. Blinking in the light, the scene slowly came into focus. The bright light turned out to be a dim red trail along the floor of an otherwise pitch black hallway. The light snaked and wove like lava along the floor, lighting the way. Beckoning her closer. Follow me, it seemed to say. Obliging , she began to follow the outline.
