Chapter 3

I'm currently being driven around Downtown LA by Lance. He said to dress down so I'm wearing a basic white tank top with a fitted knee length denim shorts and some white nikes on my feet. To tie the look together I put a Louis Vuitton scarf around my hair.

"You planning on putting out any new music?" He asks as we head onto the freeway.

"I've already started writing out lyrics, once I finally hit the studio then we'll see what happens. I do plan to have an album ready by the end of the year so that gives me less than a year to do so." I respond after taking a few selfies of myself.

"What about your magazine?"

I unlock my phone, "I've been interviewing different editors all week." I sigh. "Just because I won't be there everyday does not mean that I won't be there. I will be approving everything before it is published or posted."

"What about me?" He looks at me for a second and I furrow my my brows at him.

"What about you?"

"Do you see a future?" I blink twice. "Do you see anything happening between us?"

"I mean, we are together now." I place one hand on his thigh before squeezing it. "I may not like that chain around your neck on this outfit but I do enjoy your company and I would definitely like to progress with whatever we have going on."

"You seeing any other guys?" He casually asks and I roll my eyes.

"Are you seeing anybody else?" I flip the question.

"Not anymore."

My time with Lance ended not long after our car conversation. He started bringing up shit about me going on dates with other people. While we were at a stoplight, he pulled an article on Cristiano wanting to see me then he started popping off.

We got to a cafe to grab some lunch but I was already pissed so when he went to the bathroom, I left. I got an uber home, got dressed and spent the rest of the day with my girls.

I have not seen Jada, Teyane, Amber or Ramira in a few months so it was the best just being with them.
