"Alright. I'm ready." I sighed.

"First, we must synch our minds. Since you waited so long to claim your power, we have lost our mind link." She explained.

I nodded and looked around, waiting for instructions.

"Close your eyes and focus. Imagine a network of nerves in your mind. Now, take my hand." I did as she said and I felt a human hand grab mine.

I furrowed my brows and tried to open my eyes, but they refused.

"What's happening?" I asked, a little freaked out.

"Don't worry, I'm in my human form right now. You'll be able to control your movement again in a second. Once the link is established, we will fuse. Please do not freak out when it happens. It looks a little weird." She said.

"Okay." I replied, calming down a bit.

"Open your eyes." She said.

I did as she said and when I looked at her, she was human.

She had long white hair and her eyes were piercing.

She had light freckles and a small nose, the tip of it was red, like she was blushing.

Her skin seemed silky smooth and she was small, like a child.

"You're so cute." I whispered.

"What?" She asked.

Her voice was different now.

"Your voice is different." I pointed out.

"Yes, I have my own form now." She said.

"Yeah I see that." I said.

"Now for the merging process. Line your hands up with mine." She held her hands out.

I lined up all my fingers with hers and she closed her eyes, I did the same.

Suddenly, a bright white light was all I could see.

But my eyes are still closed, what the hell is happening?

The pressure I felt on my hands before was gone.

I felt a surge of energy and my eyes fluttered open.

"Where'd you go?!" I yelled.

I waited a few seconds for a response, but she was gone.

I looked into the beside me and saw a knife with a carved handle.

It had intricate designs of flowers, waves, and had my name carved into it in cursive, with a heart next to it.

The blade itself was matte black and it had pieces of silver glitter on it.

"It's so pretty." I stared at it.

Suddenly I was sleepy again, I figured I was going back to the real world, so I laid back and let myself fall asleep.

I woke up and looked around, I was back in the original field.

Slender stood beside me, his head tilted down at me, so I assumed he was looking at me.

I looked down and saw the knife was still in my hand.

"Ah, she must have given you a present." He said.

I nodded and stood up.

"So what now?" I asked.

"Now, you will learn the basics. How to teleport, and how to enter people's minds." He said.

"This is gonna be so cool." I mumbled.
