When I was finished getting ready I got into the carriage and headed into town to meet with Lydia at a dining restaurant for breakfast while Nanny stays home with the twins too I of course will have to pay her at least a 1,000 pounds for her service but I have to pay her when we get back to Setauket. I miss Edmund a lot but he wants me here until he sends one of his men or letter saying I can come home.
Once I was in town I had the carriage wait at the end of the road while I was dropped off in front of a general store where I was going to buy a few sweets for Lydia on her congratulations of performance from last night at the concert.

It's only been a day since I performed last night with my colleagues it's been a privilege and an honor to do so but this morning I have breakfast with Sasha so we can catch up on things like the family or what the Culper ring had found out what the British were thinking about doing to the Continental Army. Then in town Sasha and I met up for breakfast the two of sat down and ordered something too eat.

I was working when a letter came for me Cicero gave it to me when I came back into the kitchens and I opened it once I sat down and saw it was written in Lydia's handwriting when I had opened it and read it she seemed very happy and concerned in her letters she sends me.
Dearest sister,
I know it's only been 3 weeks since I left for Pennsylvania for my concert with my colleagues but I had hoped that you'd be here in time for the first showing of my extraordinary performance. On the other hand of this matter of why I'm writing to you before I go out and perform is that I hear that the British is leaving Pennsylvania and moving to York Town under orders from high command.
News travels fast saying that Captain Simcoe of the Queen's Rangers is back in Setauket at such a time during this war you must this letter the first chance you get or right after you read this letter also Sasha and the twins are here in Pennsylvania for a few days before heading home but Sasha will be attending the concert tonight and I'm quite excited too see her.
Now Anna I need you to be strong without me for a few more days I know it's dangerous for you at a time like this but trust me I will be back home.
Your affectionate sister,
Lydia Strong-Washington
p.s.
A late birthday present for you in the envelope.

While I was rebuilding my house so that my family may move back into the house sometime before the war is over can't depend on my father for everything, so then with that happening Anna came by without nobody following her around can't trust anyone now a days plus I'm rather worried about my sister Sasha she's been sent up north to Pennsylvania for her and the twins safety away from Captain Simcoe as well as the ex Captain of the Queen's Rangers.
Then Anna spoke and said"Abe I received news about Lydia and her show also she saw Sasha there listen,"
