Chapter 11: The chilly winter month

*Months passed by in Setauket and other parts of America in the Winter*
*In the Continental Army Camp that chilly morning with General Washington and Lydia Strong*
~Lydia Strong's POV ~

It's been months since Sasha has come to visit me, then again I guess it would be difficult for her to travel to the camp because their British soldiers everywhere blocking possibly every single exit. She'll need Edmunds approval for her to go anywhere alone, I'm worried about her now that Robert Rodgers and the Queen's Rangers are coming to Setauket this isn't good and what's worse is that Captain Simcoe is after Abe and the others.
But we can't do anything this month of December because it's winter. The soldiers will freeze to death I'm not gonna let those boys die from pneumonia and other things all because my friends are in trouble.

While I was walking through the campsite to find George but he was no where to be found so I wandered through the woods to find him but made sure I had my weapons with me, just incase there was some kind of trouble and had 3 men with me so I have back up. So I decided to sing a song that I used to sing with Anna whenever we were younger and I danced. That's when I fell asleep in my tent warming myself up in my bed but not before feeling a familiar hand on my hand the person kissing my hand and just holding it.
*That same day in Setauket the same chilly month at the Woodhull's house*
~Sasha Woodhull's POV ~
Months passed by and I was with Edmund planning a Christmas dinner for his officers and I had to give Abe and his family their gifts that I had bought months ago. While I was planning the dinner Edmund had gone to speak with my father about certain matters, so then I went up to my room and changed into my outdoor dress that way I'm comfortable when walking around.
Sasha's outfit:

I'm hoping I'm not making a mistake of being engaged to the enemy even if he is my lover, the man I love is so busy with everything including this revolution. So after getting dressed I took the carriage to Abe's house with the gifts I'm bringing to them because I won't have any time left to see my brother before Robert Rodgers gets here.
*At Abraham Woodhull's house that morning inside at around 10:00 a.m.*
~ Abraham Woodhull's POV ~
I was teaching my son Thomas how to write his ABC's on a small chalk board, while Mary my wife went out into town to shop for dinner tonight since I was alone with Thomas their was a knock on the door and asked who it was I told Thomas to keep practicing his ABC's while I get the door. When I opened the door I saw my sister Sasha Woodhull she was engaged to Major Hewlett, then I invited my own sister into my home as I took her cloak off and offered her tea and bread.
Abe and Sasha:

~Sasha Woodhull's POV ~
Once I got to my brothers house I got out of the carriage carrying 2 bags of gifts for him and his family from me for Christmas. Inside of the bags is a letter for Abe telling him that I can't get through to Lydia, Caleb, and Ben and telling him what I know so far then telling him to burn the letter so that there can be no evidence.
It's super chilly outside winter is upon us and it's December 20th, 1775 General Washington and his men should be crossing the Delaware river soon hopefully by Christmas time. So my brother Abe invited me inside and we had tea and bread while he helped Thomas with his ABC's.
Then I set the 2 bags down under the Christmas tree and said"I've brought gifts for you 3 for Christmas most of them are for Thomas and Mary I only have so much money Abe," then Abe hugged me telling me what he's been up to. I worry about Abe because Simcoe is after him and soon Robert Rodgers will also be after Abraham.

~Abraham Woodhull's POV ~
Once I had my sister inside she placed all of the Christmas gifts under our tree and then once she sat down and said" Sasha what are you doing here if Hewlett finds out," but I was soon cut off by her and she said" Abe Hewlett knows that I'm here for a bit until I'm done with my visit he'll be here shortly with our horses," then as such happened Sasha and I were teaching Thomas how to read from one of his books he loves.
Abe with Thomas and Mary:

After chatting with my sister Mary came home and placed the food basket onto the table but she wasn't alone Hewlett came with her here to our house, then Sasha went up to Hewlett and kissed him he however hugged her he's becoming protective of her now.
