It's been only 2 days since Edmund and I arrived in New York to free Abe from prison so Edmund went to take care of that business as I was in town doing some shopping for myself since I know that George Washington will be holding a party in Philadelphia at his estate there once we drive the British away from Philadelphia and Washington DC as well also. I've also been persuading Edmund to change sides though it doesn't excuse him for what he and his soldiers have done as British of course.
Once I was finished shopping for myself I took a carriage back to where Edmund and I were staying at when I arrived the servants had taken my things upstairs while I went to the small desk by the window so I could write a letter to Lydia, so I sat down at the desk by the window and took out a sheet of paper and held my quill thinking about what I've seen.
Dearest Lydia,
I do hope this letter finds you well when you read this as Anna would have told you by now that Major Hewlett and I are now in New York so he could break Abe out of prison, I just got finished doing some shopping for myself and most possibly for a new addition to the family. Anyways I'm writing this letter in an officers house in the city but from what I've seen here is that all of the British ships are blocking the path so the French can't get through, so then they are planning to outflank Washington's army at Monmouth with the Queens Rangers help so that the Rebels are forced to retreat.
You need to burn this letter once you've read it after you've done that you need to write to Ben and Caleb and tell them what I told you but make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands I don't need this being traced back to me if this goes horribly wrong as well also too, it's important that you deliver this letter yourself to Ben your a better rider and shooter who can do both well besides me of course. I'm sure George will be delighted to see you again he needs to know this information.
I must go now Edmund will be back any moment now it's almost time for supper stay safe please there's a reward for killing you and General Washington. Please be cautious Lydia someone is out there to kill you and General Washington and there's a huge reward to any British or Queen Rangers who kills both of you.
Love always your friend,
Sasha Woodhull
Once I was finished I sealed it and sent it off with a solider who was loyal to me while I was in town and road for Setauket to the tavern where Anna and Lydia Strong were waiting for a reply from myself, so then as such happened Edmund came back and he seems rather cheerful right now he must've gotten Abe out of prison with me I was staring out of the window thinking about having a baby.
When the two of us were having dinner later that night Edmund told me that we're leaving tomorrow morning back to Setauket where he has pressing matters that was waiting for him, my father is ashamed of Abe for being a double spy and Edmund is furious now Abe is a wanted man I will be rejected by my husband if he finds out that I'm a spy and a lieutenant for General Washington.
*Meanwhile back in Setauket, Long Island that night at the Strong's Tavern*
~Lydia Strong's POV~

While I was cooking supper for the soldiers who were here in the tavern tonight Anna was serving them their drinks as I cooked supper with Cicero helping me by cutting the vegetables, so then as I was cooking supper a letter came for me from Sasha...

While I was cooking supper for the soldiers who were here in the tavern tonight Anna was serving them their drinks as I cooked supper with Cicero helping me by cutting the vegetables, so then as I was cooking supper a letter came for me from Sasha while she was in New York so I asked Cicero to help cook as I went to sit down and read my letter I've waited for news to tell Ben, Caleb, and George as well I've heard from a soldier that Hewlett had broken Abe out of prison.
Anyways my letter from Sasha seemed so important so I quickly opened it and read the letter to myself.

After reading the letter from Sasha I burned the letter and continued to cook supper by which time I had Anna bring out a 2 trays of soup that I made for the men since it was actually chilly at the moment here in Long Island. So then I went upstairs to my room and wrote a letter to Ben and then afterwards I saddled my horse and rode to George's camp site and I knew where it was at so I rode hard and fast on my horse who can outrun anyone.
