"Ciao!"
She hung up an left me in utter shock.
How could she do this? I'm in love with Sherlock! Nobody else!
I just tried to take my mind off of it.
"I'll go to meet him tomorrow to make my mum happy, and then decline." I thought, relieving myself.
After that, I got ready to go to work.
Molly wasn't going to be in today, or tomorrow, or the day after that. She was gonna be on her honeymoon, in Hawaii which meant that I was gonna be so bored at work.
I took a cabbie there, and I stared out it's window on the way, noticing droplets if rain getting on it.
When I arrived, I got out and practically ran inside. My hair still got wet, but my clothes weren't that wet, thank goodness.
Walking to my locker, my shoes squeaking from the wetness of them, all I could think about was how much my life had changed.
How much I had changed.
I'm really happy, and it's all thanks to Sherlock.
I opened my locker up, and put my coat and bag inside.
I slipped on my lab coat and selected a few scalpels for the man I was about to take a look at.
Elric Scrooge. Shot by a bullet in the chest. Let's see...
I cut straight through his chest to create a small opening so I could pick out the bullet.
I picked it out and put it on a small tray, then sewed the slit skin back up.
I then went over to the sink to wash off the blood on the bullet, and put it in a bag as evidence. The Scotland Yard would be here later today to pick it up.
After I packed the, now clean, bullet, I did a few more autopsies along with some paperwork.
It was close to my time of leave, while I was filing away some paperwork, and I heard a firm knock on the door.
"Come in." I called out, without looking up from my paperwork.
"Hi. I came to pick up the piece of evidence, I think it was a bullet." Anderson said.
"Oh, umm...it's right here. Follow me." I said going into it's file drawer and pulling it out.
"Here." I said, handing it to him.
"Thank you." He said eyeing it.
"Yea." I said, walking back to my desk and packing my stuff up.
"Oh before I go..." He said, walking back over.
"Yes?" I asked, not looking up from my desk, as I was busy organizing my things.
I held my bag on my shoulder and turned to see him.
"Would you be interested in grabbing a drink, with me, in a pub sometime tonight?" He asked, being dangerously close in front of me.
I stared up at him, and tried to read his face.
I never knew who this guy was.
I had seen him a few times with Scotland Yard, but that's about it.
"Sorry, I'm not very interested." I said, with a smile before attempting to walk past him.
Before I could pass him, he had grabbed me by my arm tightly.
"That's rude. Don't be rude. You don't even know my name!" He said.
I heard someone else enter the room but I couldn't tell who it was because I was looking behind me at that idiot.
"Anderson, right? Listen bruh, get your stinking hand off me." I said, glaring at him.
"Oh, hello. We were just leaving." Anderson said, to the person to the door.
"Let me go! I swear I'll hurt you!" I said, loudly.
He was dragging me by my arm and it hurt, badly.
"Anderson I highly suggest you let go, if you want to avoid any...oh I don't know...external damage." I heard Sherlock say.
"Oh really? What are you gonna do? Beat me up and save your little princess?" He said in a high pitch voice.
"Oh, no. Not at all...it's not me you should be worried about." He said, and I could hear the smirk in his voice.
"What--" Anderson was gonna say, but I interrupted him by taking his arm and twisting it backwards, causing a sprain.
"You...are really...stupid." I said, and let him go.
"Come on then, love." Sherlock sang, holding out his hand for me to take.
"Coming~" I replied, skipping over to him and taking his hand.
We both left Anderson there with a sprain and a bullet.
Oh but don't worry,
I cleaned the bullet so he'll be fine.
