"well they should be here by now" Yunhyeong complained a bit "it's suppose to start"

"really ? how'd you know ?" Donghyuk asked as he raised his brows

"i read the invitation carefully unlike you guys" Yunhyeong replied.

"ya~ look it's blackpink" Hanbin announced, catching all of their attention to the table next to them.

the girls were walking towards their table, looking down, bowing to their seniors and then realise they're sitting next to their label mate, IKON and flashed a sweet smile.

Junhoe and Jennie made eye contact and Junhoe winked at her, making her blush. He purposely sat the closest to a chair on their table.

Jennie wanted to take the chance to keep up with him, so she sat on the chair.

"annyeomg~" Yunhyeong greeted with a wave towards all of the girls and they waved back

"it's your first award. am i right Neighbour ?" Bobby asked and smiled adorably.

"oh~yes !" Rose replied and nodded.

"you must be nervous" Chanwoo assumed.

"yeah, very nervous" Jennie emphasised

"don't worry; you all would be alright. we're here !" Donghyuk paused for a few second "are you guys nominated for an award ?"

"yes, actually. we're nominated for best rookie of the year" Jisoo replied proudly but nervously.

"ya~you're going to get it ! for sure !" Jinhwan lifted their confidence

while they were busy talking, Junhoe looked around to see if anyone's watching or if any of the members's not paying attention to the group conversation.

"Jennie~" He whispered to get her attention which he succeeded as they were not far apart.

Jennie raised her eyebrows and smiled.

"you look very beautiful, princess" Junhoe said quietly, staying cautious.

"thank you, you look good yourself" Jennie blushed.

"i miss you" Junhoe pouted playfully.

"then why didn't you text me ? or call me. or or visit me" Jennie questioned in an adorable way instead of bursting into flames.

"right.." Junhoe looked down in guilt "schedule was full with concerts, i'm so sorry"

"i'm just kidding, Koo Junhoe" Jennie chuckled silently "i understand you're busy"

"aigo~my heart was beating so fast ! don't do that" Junhoe exhaled.

"you looked handsome in your concert outfits. and please behave, i saw you monkeying around the stage when i went through instagram" Jennie joked more.

"i've been exposed by my own fans, i feel betrayed" Junhoe played along and smiled.

Then the stadium starts to fill up.

"the stadium's filling up.." Jennie got nervous as she looked around.

"don't be nervous" Junhoe held her hand for a quick second "i guess it's time for us to end the conversation. for now.."

Jennie nodded with a soft smile.

"i'll talk to you when i have the chance" Junhoe reassured her with a smile "i love you~"

after a few awards and performances , it was time for The best Rookie award.

IKON believed their junior would get it, since they were on fire during their performance. Well, Junhoe couldn't help but smile as he watched his love of his life perform. she was amazing.

both blackpink and Ikon members's heart were racing.

Junhoe closed his eyes and faced down, prayed for their award.

"please let it be blackpink" he kept repeating in his mind.

"and the best rookie group award goes to.."

"BLACKPINK !" they announced.

Junhoe jumped from his seat immediately (got embarrassed for a few second ) and clapped his hands proudly.

Jennie looked at Junhoe and chuckled.

"you did it, princess" Junhoe mouthed and winked "go get your award"

Jennie nodded and started walking with the other members, bowing to other idols as they past through. Walked up stairs and towards the microphone.

everyone cheered as they reached the microphone. The members looked at each other, signalling for one of them to give the speech.

The others decided Jennie deserved to do their first speech, to let her calm down a bit and get comfortable to the stage since she's always nervous and anxious.

"oh~firstly, although it's only been three months since we debuted, Thank you so much for giving us a meaningful award" Jennie started.

then she looked to her members "to the members who spent 6 years with me, i am really thankful. Thank you Yang Hyun Suk sajangnim, it was thanks to you that we are here"

"Thank you to Teddy~oppa who always writes great songs for us and to our hairstylist, makeup director and stylist, thank you and to our manager"

Jennie chuckled adorably as she didn't really know what to say as she was overwhelmed. Then she giggled and covered her face, it looked like she was crying so everyone was touched and aww-ed.

"no, no, i'm not crying" She laughed "To our parents, Thank you. we will be blackpink that shows good side. and to our fans, thank you so much"

everyone cheered as they bowed.
