Miranda- "I want to see her"
Steve- "You gave up to see her when you left us"
Miranda- "I was young Steve"
Steve- "You were 22 Miranda and an alcoholic"
Miranda- "I wasn't prepared to be a mom yet"
Steve- "Why now"?
Miranda- "Ive picked myself up. I went to rehab and I have a job and have two kids of my own"
Steve- "Your married"?
Miranda- "Yes and his name is Geroge"
Steve- "I didn't ask"
Miranda- "Look can I see her"?
Steve- "I told you that you gave up to be her mom when you left"
Miranda- "Does she know about me"?
Steve- "Kinda"
Miranda- "What did you tell her"?
Steve- "I told her that you died in a car crash when you were young"
Miranda- "You know that isnt the truth Steve"
Steve- "I am well aware of that Miranda but what do you want me to tell a 8 year old girl"?
Miranda- "She's 8"?
Steve- "Dammit Miranda she is 14"!
Miranda- "Which is more why I should see her"
Steve- "You legally gave up your pparental rights when you divorced me and left me with our week old baby girl to raise on my own"
Miranda- "Please Steve"?
Steve- "I don't know"
Miranda- "Come on Steve. What we you afraid of. That you lied to her and that she has a mom"?
Steve- "You want the truth"?
Miranda- "Yes Steve"!
Steve- "I'm afraid that you will hurt her when you leave her"
Miranda- "I won't"
Steve- "How can I believe you? Huh? You told me 15 years ago that you wouldn't leave me or our daughter"
Miranda- "Steve"
Steve- "I'm sorry Miranda but no. Allyssa and I are fine"
Miranda- "That's a nice name"
Steve- "Thanks Miranda. Look I got to go"
Miranda- "Wait.....Steve"
Steve- "What is it"?
Miranda- "Steve please let me talk to her at least"
Steve- "Goodbye Miranda" with that I hung up
End of call.....
Steve- I rubbed my face with my hands and knew that this thung with Miranda wasn't over yet.
Hmmmm.....Lissy mother is back??
