After leaving the house, we walked to the woods that were directly behind it.

"Was that you that I saw in the woods?" I asked.

"Yeah." He replied.

"Why didn't you kill me?" I glanced at him.

"You weirded the shit out of me by not being scared, if I'm being honest you kinda scared me." He laughed.

"I couldn't help myself! You just look so badass and cool, and not to mention creepy! I love creepy and dark shit, so you're like a jackpot to me. Heh, get it? Jackpot. Cause your name is-" He cut me off.

"Yeah I get it (Y/N), thanks for clarifying." He said sarcastically.

"You're welcome." I chuckled.

"And before you start asking questions, Slender will answer whatever you need to know." He looked over at me.

I couldn't see his expressions, which made me a little annoyed.

"Take your mask off, I've already seen your face, in fact I was literally inspecting it." I said.

"I'm keeping the mask on, incase someone sees us." He reasoned.

"We're in the middle of nowhere, in the woods. No one's gonna see us." I argued.

"Still, you can never be too careful." He said.

"The point is, just take the mask off." I stopped and stood in front of him, keeping him from walking any further.

"I-" Jack stopped himself, then grabbed me and put a hand over my mouth.

I didn't struggle, as I could tell he was listening for something.

"Shit..." He muttered.

He picked me up and slung me over his shoulder as he took off running.

"Why are we running?" I asked.

"Just shut up." Jack shook his head.

———

After a few minutes, a large wooden mansion came into view.

"Woah..." I breathed out.

"Welcome home." Jack said.

He set me down and opened the door for me, allowing me to go in first.

Once inside, he grabbed my hand, making me squeak.

"I've got to, to make sure no one hurts you while you're here." He whispered.

I nodded and followed him as he led me down numerous hallways.

Eventually, I lost track of where we had come from.

He stopped at two large doors, and knocked.

A few seconds later, my mind filled with static and me ears felt like they would bleed from the pressure.

I hissed in pain and Jack looked back at me.

"It'll be alright." He reassured me.

I nodded, and squeezed my eyes shut to lessen the pain.

"Hello, Jack, (Y/N). Come in, children." A dark voice entered my mind.

Jack glanced at me before opening the doors and leading me inside.

I looked around and it looked to be a clean, tidy, well decorated office.

I looked at the desk to see a terrifyingly tall man in a suit, he was paper white with no face, and he had black tentacles behind him.

"Badass." I whispered to myself.

"Slender, I want you to test (Y/N), and see if she's fit to become one of us." Jack said.

He looked at me and I gave him a small smile.

"Interesting. Jack, just what is your relationship with this girl?" The voice, Slender, asked.

"I was given the job to kill her, but after seeing her reaction to me and her ability to handle gore, I believe she could become a valuable asset." Jack explained.

"That doesn't answer my question. I asked what your relationship is with her, not how you know her." Slender said.

"Um. Sir, if I may? We just met, so a bond hasn't exactly been established. Basically, we couldn't tell you what we are since we don't exactly know ourselves." I joined the conversation.

"She's quite bold, isn't she Jack?" Slender said.

"Yeah, she is." Jack seemed intrigued by my statement.

"The test will be held tomorrow at midnight, be ready by then, child. And Jack, you will be assisting." And with that, Jack grabbed my hand once more, and led my out of the room.

He closed the door behind him and looked at me.

"You can stay in my room." He said.

I nodded wordlessly and let him lead me down yet another maze of hallways.

He stopped at a dark wooden door that had 'Eyeless Jack' written on it in dark blue paint.

Yep, definitely Jack's.

He opened the door and gestured for me to go inside.

"So that was Slender?" I asked.

He nodded and took his mask off, setting it down on a metal operating table in the middle of the room.

There was a large hospital-like curtain separating the area from the other half of the room.

The half with the operating table was more like a surgery room or a examination office, while the other half looked like a regular bedroom.

"Wow, this is so cool. And I can't believe I actually have a chance to work side by side with a real murderer! This is the best day of my life." I sighed and looked around some more.

"There should be an extra bed in the room next to mine, I'll go set it up. Stay here, and whatever you do, do not leave this room, understand?" He grabbed his mask and gave me a stern look.

"Yes sir." I saluted him and he sighed before putting his mask on and exiting the room, closing the door silently behind him.

"Now, time to go explore."
