Day by day you saw Jimin's messages flood into your inbox.

He freaked the first day when he had seen that you had read the texts but hadn't replied. From then in it was constant texts that you didn't answer.

He was delusional.

He thought you were mad at him.

He apologized for the fight that happened with your father.

Yes, apologized.

Saying things like:

If I knew it would've hurt your feelings this much, I wouldn't have done it, I swear.

I'm so, so, so, sorry muffin. I promise I never meant to offend you, I was only doing it to protect you.

You know I would never hurt you intentionally. I love you.

Etcetera, etcetera.

You would type out reply's, some were short, some were long. But you never sent them, for fear of getting in trouble.

But poor Jimin was on the side where he had no clue what was happening.

He woke up in hospital with you not there. The doctors told him what's wrong with him, but he honestly couldn't have cared less.

All he cared about at that moment was where you were. He texted you all that day with no reply but after he sent his very last text, he knew you saw it.

But there was no reply.

And then as the days went on, he sent more and more texts with no reply. But during those days he would see the little symbol to say you were typing something, but the message you typed was never sent.

And that broke a fragment of his heart.

You didn't visit him and you didn't ask him how he was.

Maybe she doesn't care, Jimin thought.

He asked his mother about you, but she would simply just change the subject.

But the worst thing that has happened to Jimin over the recent few days was nightmares.

He would wake up in the middle of the night crying his eyes out. He would originally wake up trying to scream or shout or something.

Anything.

It was as if he wanted you to hear him.

But you couldn't, because you weren't there for him.

The pain of trying to scream made him cry even more.

If only you were there.

If only you would reply.
