Y/N's P.O.V

My dad drove along the open road, trees on either side of the concrete stretch going on for miles. I sighed as I looked out of the window, my chin resting against my closed fist.

"You okay, hun?" I looked forward and sighed again as mum looked at me.

"Yeah, I'm great. I'm sixteen, and now friendless because my parents decided to move the entire family five-hundred miles away from home. I'm just fantastic." I smiled sarcastically.

"Hey, there's no need for that. You know that you weren't safe there anymore." Dad scolded. I sighed and looked back out of the window.

"Didn't mean that we had to move so far away." I mumbled.

"It's what Deaton recommended, and you know that we trust him with your life. It's good to be near him." Mom nodded. I gulped as we neared the "Welcome to Beacon Hills" sign on the side of the road. My eyes widened and I choked as we passed it.

"We have to go back." I gulped. My parents looked at each other.

"Why, honey?" mom asked.

"Deaton was wrong, this place isn't safe, please, dad, turn back." I choked.

"Hey, look at me." Mom spoke, gently taking my hands in hers. I gulped as I looked at her.

"What three things cannot long be hidden?" she asked.

"Mom, you know that that doesn't work for me-."

"What three things cannot long be hidden?" she asked again. I sighed and gulped.

"The sun, the moon, and the truth." I panted.

"And again." She nodded.

"The sun, the moon, and the truth." I spoke, my breathing slowing down gradually.

"One more time." She spoke.

"The sun, the moon, and the truth." I breathed.

"Feel better?" mom asked. I looked at her.

"Loads." I nodded.

"Good. Now, you're perfectly safe here. You know that Deaton is a good man and you know that we wouldn't do anything unless we were certain that it would keep you safe." She reassured. I sighed and nodded.

"I know." I spoke.

"That's my girl." She nodded, giving me a small smile before sitting back properly in her seat. I sighed and sat back in my own seat. My eyes drifted to the window again as we started driving into residential areas. Poor people. They had no idea what was coming to them.

Stiles's P.O.V

"You know how many vehicle collisions last year involved deer? Two-hundred and forty-seven thousand." Stiles scoffed.

"Oh god, please go to school." Stilinski groaned. Stiles ignored him as he continued to stare at the laptop screen.

"But that's crossing the road, that one last night came right down the middle." Stiles mumbled. Stilinski sighed, scratching the back of his neck as he wandered into the room.

"I'm not going to beg you."

"Okay, good, I'm impervious to your influence anyway." Stiles muttered.

"Would you consider a bribe?" his dad asked.

"Couldn't meet my price." Stiles cocked his head to the side, eyes still glued to the laptop screen.
