4th April 2019, Thursday
It was Thursday and I had my A2* Physics tuition class @5pm in my school Changes' Chashara campus. Mr. Simon was the teacher and a distant relative of mine, who is well known for currently (as in April 2019) being the only person in Narayanganj having completed his engineering courses from BUET* and for his ‘little’ unstable & unpredictable shouting behaviour.
We had a solution class of the past paper January 2015 IAL* Unit 4*, where a problem of Mechanics plunged in. So he was giving a review on how to divide forces into horizontal and vertical components inorder to find the resultant force. Consequently, there came a line where he was saying, “and then you draw the vector from the tail of the original vector-”
Right at that instant Aaron(who is an active contributor to most of the incidents of this book), said in his usual tone, “and then you draw it from the butt of the original vector-” and immediately Mr. Simon repeated Aaron's lines, with not a bit of hesitance, “and then you draw it from the butt of the original vector-”
The add on: Aaron replaced the word butt with an informal Bengali word used in spoken language. Not to mention that Mr. Simon repeated Aaron’s words EXACTLY.
We students burst into laughter when I was screaming, “ewwwww, yuck....” and suddenly when I got engaged into laughter, I felt the motion of mucus about to drip out of my nose! Immediately, I breathed in a good amount of air and covered my nose with my left hand, running to the washroom to clean the mess, while everyone stared at me to watch me running away.
