Luke's (POV)
I can't believe tomorrow we go on tour with One Direction!! We started out as a small band playing gigs at bars and now we are gonna open for One Direction, that's sick! I can't believe my mum let me go! It's been my dream but I would think she would've held me back because she would get scared.
I'm gonna be traveling with Michael and Ashton and it's just gonna be so much fun! Yes I'm sad of leaving my family but I'm just so happy we are probably gonna be big! I just can't wait! I'm currently having family time before I leave tomorrow, they'll probably miss me a lot while I'm gone I mean it's gonna be 6 months long? I don't even know I'm just so happy! We were talking about what not to do while I'm away but I can't seem to focus.
"Got it?" My mum asked sternly.
"Yeah, I'll be careful is that it? It's getting late." I said checking my watch and it's actually 11 at night.
"That's not what I said and I don't want to say it again, just go to your room and go to sleep." My mum sighed. I hugged and kissed her goodnight.
"Everything's gonna be ok mum, I promise I won't do anything bad." I whispered in her ear. She sighed but nodded and I went to bed. It was hard to go to sleep thinking of the concerts and everything. I finally close my eyes and let sleep overcome me.
Ashton's (POV)
I woke up extra early today because our flight leaves at 8am and it's now 7am. My whole family is up actually and we were having breakfast as a family for the last time for 8 months? I don't know but probably more. My sister is literally crying in her breakfast and my brother is too. It's saddening to see them like this, my mum is tearing up a bit as well.
"You guys imagine I'm here but at band practice, it's ok I'll visit when we have breaks." I said. My mum sighed and finished her breakfast. I finished mine quickly too and my sister and brother were taking their time.
"If you're taking your time because you don't want me to leave it's not gonna work. I know how to drive I'll leave by myself." I threatened.
"That's cold." My brother said and finished his breakfast and my sister as well. We all got in the car and I hope everything can go as planned.
Michael's (POV)
It's just me and my mum at the airport and some fans came up to me probably knowing me from the YouTube channel, 5 Seconds Of Summer. We are sorta popular not much but we get noticed a bit. When they left my mum hugged me for 10 minutes telling me to not do anything I'll regret and to be careful and all of that.
"Mum we covered this." I smiled.
"I know it's just my little boy is gonna leave me all alone." She cried. I hugged her one more time and let go when I noticed a tattered body laying next to the men's restroom. He seemed like my age and his clothes have holes in them. He seemed like he needed help and I just can't let him stay there so the police will report him.
I told my mum I'll be right back and she nodded and she sat down on a chair. I headed towards the restroom and I saw him more clearly, he did seem pretty young to be alone and like he is right now. He's only wearing shorts and a simple ripped vest. He only has socks on his feet and a ripped up beanie as well.
"Hey mate wake up." I said and try to shake him awake. He only groaned in response and opened his eyes. I gasped, I swear to god he had slits in his eyes but they changed to a normal brown color.
"Thanks... fo-or wa-ak-k-in-ng m-e-e u-p-p." He said trying to mouth out the words like he didn't know how to speech english.
"Do you not know how to speak English? Another language?" I asked. He shook his head no and stood up. He was the same height as me and did I mention he had brown/black hair?
"Do you need help on finding your parents?" I asked. He shook his head no. Should I ask him what I'm thinking?
"Are you homeless? Did you like run away?" I asked him. He started tearing up and I quickly gave him a hug to stop him and I whispered a sorry.
"Do you want to come with me?" I asked him. He tilted his head to the side like he didn't understand.
"Come with me." I said and lead him to where my mum is.
"Mum, this is a long friend of mine that I didn't tell you about and I finally found him without a home or parents so I'm gonna take him to where I'm going is that ok?" I asked. I don't even know his name!
"I don't know why you're asking me, you have to ask you bandmates and manager." She said and looked at the black/brown haired lad confused.
"Ok so I'm gonna let him burrow some clothes because as you can see his is all ripped up so if you'll excuse me for another minute." I said and got my suitcase and lead the lad to the men's restroom again. I went inside with him and chose a Nirvana shirt and some jeans with a pair of vans I had in there. I gave them to him and he started blushing.
"What?" I asked.
"A-ar-e Yo-o-u Le-ea-a-v-e-e?" He asked. Why isn't he talking English right? I smiled and walked outside with my suitcase and waited for him. I saw Ashton and Luke arrive but I still waited on the lad, that I need to ask for his name! He finally got out but he left his beanie on even though it's all ripped up.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Ca-a-l-u-u-u-m" He said. He speaks English like he's pronouncing every word and syllable. He said he didn't speak a different language though. We walked to Ashton and Luke.
"You guys this is Calum, he'll be joining us on tour. I don't care what you say, I'll explain later." I said. Luke and Ashton looked at Calum weirdly and I gave them a look to stop.
"Ok, I'm Luke." He told him.
"My name's Ashton." He said. We all said bye to our families and Calum was stuck to my side the whole time. I had an extra plane ticket, I don't know I guess the person who gave me one thought they didn't so they gave me another one. So Calum was sitting next to me and Ashton and Luke the seats behind.
"Calum tell me why you ran away from home or what happened?" I asked. He sighed.
"Lon-n-g St-o-o-r-r-y." He said.
"We have plenty of time we are in Australia and we have to go to London, that's 21 hours so we have time." I said.
"Lo-o-o-n-d-d-on?" He tilted his head to the side again not understating.
"Did you go to school?" I asked him. He shook his head no. Then that's probably why he can't speak it quite well.
"So tell me your story." I said and got comfortable. This will maybe take him a while to talk and me to understand what he's saying.
