Chapter 14: on the horizon

Y/N POV
After dinner, you and the boys all snuggled down in a large mass of bodies, blankets and pillows, lying down amongst the boys I felt my phone go off in my pocket, fishing it out I expected it to be one of my friends, I felt my blood run cold, when I saw the name above the text: Dad. Yes I told my hybrids about my family, but I didn't tell them my entire story. The reason I never grew up with a hybrid, was because my father hated them, called them 'freaks of nature' and would never invite my aunt round, cause of her hybrid, said she stank the whole house up.  My brothers and I would always go to the local hybrid shelter, in defiance of our dad, and help out. They were always understaffed so we had no problem finding something to do. Reeling in my thoughts, I looked down at the text

Your mother and I are coming to visit in a few days, I hope since moving you haven't broken the rule about no hybrids

I felt myself begin to shake, I don't want him here, I don't want him to hurt my boys, I don't want him to take them away I don't- "Noona? Are you okay?" Jungkook's big floppy bunny ears were ever so slightly perked up, "yeah, don't worry Kookie I'm fine, just a little cold, that it, cold." Jungkook nodded, all though a little unsurely, he grabbed me and pulled me into him and hugged me tighter, I settled down a little, but couldn't shake off my unease. I heard a sniffing behind me, I then felt faint breathing tickling my neck and lightly blowing my hair, "(Y/N) why do you smell so distressed?" Jin asked "yeah you looked at your phone and now you're all weird smelling, I don't like it." Jimin adds, the other hybrids nodding along "guys, I'm okay, I just, I don't know." Yoongi made a small grunting noise and came and sat in front of me, grasping my cheeks as he did so "Baby, tell us the truth, what has you so spooked? Where's my brave, strong girl huh?" I felt tears well in my eyes I felt myself slowly begin to break down. I felt someone lightly stroke my cheeks "shhh don't cry Noona, it's gonna be okay shhh." Taehyung slowly coddled me, grabbing a blanket and wrapping me up in it like a newborn baby. "So now, tell us what's wrong." I nodded as Jimin, and Jungkook joined Tae in our mini cuddle session "So I may have not told you all the complete truth about how I grew up, my father....hates hybrids, that's the reason I've never had a hybrid before, and he's coming to stay soon and I'm worried that he's going to truly and make me get rid of you and-" I felt someone gently rub my hair I looked around and saw Hoseok, gently stroking my hair, like I've done so many times for them, I can see why it calms them. "We're not going anywhere, your father will have to drag us, kicking screaming, scratching out of this apartment, and my claws are sharp, so it will hurt." Jin savagely bit back, I let out a dry chuckle he always over exaggerates, "(Y/N) I promise that we will protect you, what kind of hybrids would we be if we didn't, you don't impose a owner/hybrid relationship, but we're still your hybrids, it's our job to protect you, physically and emotionally, like you do for us." Namjoon said in a soft tone, causing his already gorgeous voice to gain a more calming but sensual degree (Namjoon's voice is like melted chocolate, and I would happily listen to him talk for hours. Thank you for coming to my TED talk) "we will put all our effort into helping and protecting you, we will dedicate our everything; our blood, sweat and tears to you." Taehyung concluded for his Hyung. "Okay, I feel....slightly better now, thank you boys, I mean that, I don't know what I'd do without you all." Jungkook hearing this, unwrapped himself from the Maknae hug party, coming round to me, smiling his bunny smile and delicately lent in and pressed his lips to mine, the kiss was shy and innocent, much like the bunny I'd come to know and love, his hands shakily their way up to my hair, as he slowly thread his hands into my hair, combing his way through it. "Okay, Okay Jungkook, we get you love (Y/N), we all do, you don't need to...be so aggressive about it." Jin blushed and looked away "Oh please Jin, no need to be conservative, we all know you want to kiss her like Jungkookie did, we all do." Yoongi sassed at Seokjin's sudden prudishness. "Noona? Can we all get kisses?" Jimin pouted, battling his eyes round, a slightly pleading glint in them "Aww Minnie of course you can, all of you can." Jimin squealed slightly as jumped onto me and pressed his lips to mine, unlike Jungkook's kiss, Jimin's was a very energetic kisser, his lips pressed against mine with purpose and happiness, he gently wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his hands on my butt, I broke the kiss before not much more happened "naughty kitty, don't do that." Jimin smiled at my light teasing, this lead to Hoseok coming up to me, him instantly latching his lips onto mine the moment he was in my direct line of view, his kiss were as energetic as Jimin's, but a lot more controlled. "Now how was that for a kiss?" Hoseok smiled, seemingly lightening up the room, "it was lovely Seokie." Hoseok nodded, still smiling, and toddled off to sit with Jungkook and Jimin. "Jinnie, come on, I really want to kiss you." I smiled at the tentative feline, he shuffled forward and ever so lightly, as if I'd break if he pressed his lips to mine with any more force than a feather-like touch. "Seokjin she isn't going to break, you can put a bit more force behind it." Yoongi said with a large roll of his eyes. Seokjin furrowed his brows and broke away from the kiss "b-but my mother told me to always treat a lady with gentle actions, I don't want to seem ungentlemanly." He mumbled with a slight, uncharacteristic pout. "Jin it was fine, it was a very sweet kiss." I smiled and I gently stroked the hairs on the back of his neck. Jin lightly smiled, his eyes closing in content. Taehyung bounced into my view, "Noona, I wan' kisses." He whined, "Okay, Okay, my whiny baby." I laughed, and closed my eyes and puckered my lips, Tae jumped up and kissed me, he was rough and passionate, but still romantic. Once we parted, Tae panting, his honey-gold tail wagging back and forth behind him, but a content smile adorned his angelic features. "Namjoonie you next." Namjoon, stumbling over his own feet made his way to me. "I-I've n-never kissed anyone before so uh-" I shushed him and gently brought my hands up to Namjoon's cheeks "I'll lead it Joonie." He nodded slightly, and closed his eyes, I lent in, and gently placed my lips on his, it was clumsy, and inexperienced on Namjoon's part, but that didn't mean it wasn't full of love, even when he accidentally bit my bottom lip. "S-Sorry (Y/N) I didn't mean to, um, oh my gosh I'm so sorry." Namjoon stuttered I chuckled, scratching the back of his ears, "it's okay Joonie, for a first timer, your a very good kisser." I heard the light thump of Namjoon's tail as he smiled at the compliment. "Move Namjoon, let me show my baby what a real kiss is like." Yoongi strutted over to me, he used one arm and wrapped it tightly around my waist, his other hand going directly to the joint where my head and the back of my neck conceded and pulled me close, our lips locking with a ferocious intensity, his kisses were a lot more animalistic, I don't know if do with  his hybrid type or if it's because he's the only mated hybrid out of the seven of them. Needless to say I was very out of breath when we parted. I turned away from Yoongi and all the hybrids were gaping at me in shock, one in particular get shifting in his seat, his ears twitching. "W-Well now we've all shown our love and reassurance, I feel it's time for a nap, whose with me?" Yoongi muttered to try and break the thick and heavy silence a chorus of "me!" followed the panther's proposition, and with a light smile I returned to my room, without the slightest notion of who was following me.

Phew, that took a while
First of all, I AM SO SRRY THIS TOOK SO LONG, I was on holiday in Japan/South Korea for the past week so I've had very little time to write, in fact most of this was written on the 10 hour flight back home.
