VERONICA POV
Today was a busy day and I was prepared to take on any customers. Betty hated me and I hated that she did...but Cheryl still liked me. Cheryl was lonely lately without Toni. I approached a table getting ready to take their orders, but Betty pushed me out of the way.
"This is my table, you tool." Betty said sternly. I rolled my eyes and went up to Cheryl behind the counter.
"Hey Cher, can you babysit Vince tomorrow?" I asked. I saw Betty walk up and she scoffed.
"Babysitting for the babysitter...don't make me laugh." Betty whispered. She walked away and I began to feel my blood boil.
"Hey Veronica, I would love to watch Vince for the night. What are you and Archie doing anyways?"
"We are gonna look at the stars and eat some pizza. He's gonna teach me everything to expect for Penn State. It'd be nice for some advice before I go in there."
"Yeah! Don't worry, I will babysit." Cheryl nodded. We hugged went straight back to work.
