Chapter 12: Saying Goodbye

“So you just used me!” he yelled

“What are you talking about?”

“You let me believe you wanted to be together so I’d let you stay at my house!”

“I never said I wanted to be together, and I wanted to see you!”

“You’re a fucking liar!”

“Zane stop, I wanted to see you, you’re my best friend!”

“FUCK YOU! You’re just a fucking tease!”

“Are you serious?!” I finally yelled and all of a suddenly Andy flew off the bus

“What’s going on?”

“Fuck you too!” Zane yelled at him

“Whoa! Relax man” Andy gave me a confused look and Zane swung at him and thankfully missed “I really don’t want to fight you!” Andy said backing away from him

“Zane enough!” I grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him, he shoved me. I lost my balance and fell to the ground.

“NOW I wanna fight you!” Andy yelled raising his fist

“STOP!” I stood in front of him “its ok, he didn’t mean to push me” he lowered his hand and hugged me “he’s upset I just need to talk to him, give us a sec?” he sighed and gave me a reluctant look “he’s not like Jason, it was an accident, I’ll be fine”

“Okay” he kissed my forehead and went back to the bus. I turned to Zane was and saw him walking away

“Zane come back” I called to him,

He turned around, “I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to I-“ he started

“I know, Zane I love you, you’ve been my best friend since we were kids, and you will always have a place in my heart. But I’m in love with Andy and I’m sorry that hurts you but I’m with him and I’m happy, and I’d really like you to be happy for me..”

“I know, and I am I just got the wrong idea I guess, sorry for being an asshole” we hugged, “so will you still go see Falling in Reverse with me?”

“Of course, but do you mind if Andy comes?”

“Nah” he replied and we walked arm-in-arm back to the bus where I got a somewhat confused look from Andy. Zane and I had always been like this, get in a huge fight and then be fine a few minutes later, and that tended to confuse other people. I was used to it.

“Well let’s go! We got a band to see!” I yelled

“Alright” Andy said with a cute smile

“Who are you going to see?” Ashley called from his bunk

“Falling in Reverse”

“I wanna go! Can Bryn and I come with?”

“Well yeah but let’s go!” I said, he rolled out of his bunk grabbed his cowboy hat and yelled to Bryn, who was in the shower

“Hurry your ass up! Lena and Andy are going to see FIR and I wanna go” he called knocking on the door

“That was brave” Jinxx said looking from Sammi to Ashley

“What?” he asked innocently

“Oh Ashy you never rush a girl when she’s getting ready, especially not if you want to get lucky tonight” Sammi said sarcastically. Bryn then came out of the bathroom smiling and kissed him

“I’m ready, chill babe!”

“See? Haters” he said wrapping his arm around her and sticking his tongue out at them “let’s go B” and they walked off the bus
