Chapter 11: Warped

Andy’s POV

Warped tour was finally here. I had to admit I had been itching for the chance to get back on stage. Nothing compared to the natural high I got every time I heard the crowd, and I really needed something positive because I had fallen into a bit of a rut since I got out of the hospital. My vocal chords had fully healed and I was able to sing a full set pretty well as long as I kept some water handy. I had still not heard anything from Helena, not that I had any reason to expect to. I called pretty much every tattoo shop in LA, but none of them had heard of her. The guys were convinced she left LA but I wouldn’t believe that, if she had left I may never see her again and that was too hard to bear.

Bryn and Ashley had started dating and Sammi and Jinxx had their wedding, I was happy for all of them but it still hurt knowing they had someone to love while I had just lost the person I wanted more than anything else. It was strange to see Ash in a serious relationship, I honestly didn’t expect them to last more than a few weeks, when they exceeded that and seemed happier than ever I felt like and asshole. I guess I had become a bit of a downer lately, which caused me to separate myself from the guys over the passing months, I figured that was better than me bringing them down with me.  “Andy! Get down here! Or we’re leaving your ass here!” CC yelled from downstairs, I guess some things never changed,

“Good luck playing the show without the lead singer genius” I said walking down the stairs

“Oh shut up and lets go slow poke Biersack”

“Yeah yeah” I shook my head at his attempt at a serious face. I got on the bus and threw my stuff on Jinxx’s old bunk; I decided to let Jinxx and Sammi have the back room, not like I planned on bringing anybody back here so I didn’t need the extra room.

“Andy, you sure?” Jinxx asked obviously hoping I wouldn’t change my mind

“You’re a married man now, you can’t be sharing a tiny bunk with your wife, take the damn bed”

“Have I ever told you I love you” Sammi walked in and kissed me on the cheek. Jinxx made a sad face and she hugged him, “babe I tell you I love you all the time, unless you’re sad because you wanted to give him the thank you kiss?”

“I’m good!” we said at the same time and we started laughing. Sammi shook her head and sighed before walking off the bus. I looked out the window to see Ashley hugging Bryn, probably saying goodbye.

“Hey Jinxx you mind if I tell Ash he can bring Bryn?” I asked not taking my eyes off them, I did this for two reasons, first I knew he would miss her like crazy and I wanted him to be happy and second because I was afraid if she wasn’t with us he may go back to his old ways and cheat, although I would never admit that to him, instead I just added it to the ever growing list of me being an asshole,

“I don’t mind but his bunk is above yours, so you might end listening to them go at it” he said laughing

“I’ll just switch bunks with him so they aren’t on top of me and I’ll bring headphones” I walked off the bus and called Ashley over

“Yeah?” he said sounding kind of sad.

“What’s wrong?” I asked even though I knew the answer

“Just bummed cuz I’ll miss Bryn,”

“Why would you miss her?”

“Um she’s my girlfriend and it’s gonna suck not being able to see her while we’re gone” he said kind of angrily and I laughed “what the hell is your problem?”
