(y/n) stretched his arms above his head as he walked home from school on that clear evening day.

"Man... I'm beat!" said (y/n) to himself as he walked into the pharmacy.

He made his way to the back towards the clinic where the clerk greeted him.

"Hey, (y/n). Has it been a month already?" she asked.

"I suppose so!" he said with a laugh, "Oh, yeah! I made it into U.A.!"

"Really?!" she said with disbelief, "Congrats!"

"Eh... It's nothing too big!"

She rolled her eyes as she handed him a bag full of pills.

"See you next month!" said (y/n) as he dashed out of the pharmacy.

(y/n) knocked on the bedroom door before walking in.

A small smile was on his face as he saw the black-haired woman sitting up in bed, looking out the bedroom window.

She smiled when she saw him.

"Hey..." he said in a hushed voice, crouching beside her bed, "You doing okay?"

"I'm just fine..." she said.

He placed a cup of water and one of the pills on her nightstand.

"What about you? Are you having fun? Making friends?"

"Mom... I'm the last person you should be worrying about..."

Before she could respond, she began to cough violently.

(y/n) placed one of his hands over his forehead and then held her hand.

"The cough is getting worse," muttered (y/n), "You feel warm..."

"Well, that's why we got the medicine, right?" she laughed.

She downed the pill and looked at her son.

"Oh... (y/n)..." she sighed, "Look how you've grown!"

"Aw... Stop that!" He laughed, kissing her forehead, "Hey... I'm serious... You don't need to worry about me anymore..."

"I know you feel that way..." said his mother, "I know that you don't want to be a burden, but isn't it a mother's job to worry about her son?"

"Crap! I'm gonna be late!" said (y/n) as he sprinted down the hall to his class.

He was so focused on running while checking the time, he ran right into someone.

"Ow..." (y/n) muttered.

"Are you okay, young man?"

(y/n) looked up to see a skinny man with yellow hair extending a hand towards him.

"Thanks!" he said, taking his hand and standing up.

"Shouldn't you be in class, young one?"

"R-Right! Thanks for the help!" yelled (y/n) as he ran off.

"Kids these days..." said the man to himself.

The day was a bit of a bore with all sorts of normal school stuff like Math.

But after all of that came the highlight of (y/n)'s day:

Hero Basic Training!

After summiting a general sketch of his hero costume, (y/n) held a briefcase in his hands that contained his costume.
