Humility Shore

I'm hurt by words of a spoken few.
Ones who would rather me sink than make it through.
Lost in the current and high emotional tides,
A sea of anger floods my judgment up high.

In need of a savior with gentle strong hands,
to hold me afloat, helping me reach land.
I will not sink in this sea of frustration,
as I trust God to be my anchor of salvation.

I will give you my sail in these uneven waters.
Where dreams sink and confidence falters.
You will lead me and others to humility shore.
Drying up our past, making us humble in the lord.

I can't go alone through these choppy seas,
drowning in waves of pure insanity.
You give me strength when I can't go farther.
You are the captain that I choose to sail under.
