Nothing Changes

People may go and people may stay,
but all in all people remain the same.
Nothing changes as people say,
in this land of pure decay.

A land where everything dies,
and honestly it comes as no surprise.
People are selfish and few are wise,
why do I fall for your lies?

Am I naive, am I blind
They do say to keep an open mind,
But at the same time that can keep you confined
when all they do is spit in your eye.

So honestly I'm done with people like you.
So get out of my way and just move!
Like I said before you're nothing new.
Nothing ever changes under the blue.
