Being Alone is Sometimes Better

I would rather be alone, than with people who make me feel alone.

People like you just make me groan.

You're my friend right?

Then why do we fight every day, and night?

Your words are like knives.

Piercing through my soul with insane might.

The secrets you told.....The lies you disclosed behind my back.

You didn't have to do that.

It's like you wanted to break our pact.

So I guess I'm going to be alone.

With just me, and no one to pick up on the phone.

I'd rather have it this way though.

I'd rather be alone, than with someone who makes me feel alone.

So it's time for me to grow my wings, and handle all that life has to bring.

To all the people who made me feel so lonesome.
