"I am afraid I must have misheard you

"I am afraid I must have misheard you. The mighty Captain Lyria Blackwood surely can not be requesting the help of someone as lowly as I." Sitting down on a stool, Lucien chuckled to himself at the audacity of the beauty before him.

"This is no time to be making jokes, Whitelock." Lyria snarled, already regretting her decision.

"You are correct, Blackwood. It is not. You are requesting my help after you butchered my men!"

"Can you just listen to me?!"

"Why should I?!"

"Because I am trying to help you, you stubborn mule."

"I was not aware you knew the meaning of the world 'help'"

Anger getting the best of her (due to lack of feeding), Lyria slid a knife out of her boot and jammed it into the table, in the spaces between Lucien's ring finger and middle finger.

Fury rippled across Lucien's face morphing his handsome features. Standing so abruptly that his stool fell backwards, the Captain of The Mermaid's Revenge was practically foaming at the mouth.

Lunging for the slim frame of the woman, Lucien attempted to tackle her to the ground. Instead, he slammed into a wooden pillar as she gracefully dodged his attack.
Furrowing his eyebrows in confusion, he had little time to ponder how she had managed to move so quickly before she swung her sword at his legs. Jumping out the way, Lucien didn't process the leg swiping towards him until it landed in the middle of his chest, shoving him to the floor.

Kicking his legs, he flipped himself up and unsheathed his own sword.

"You bitch."

Lyria elbowed him in the mouth.

"You sure you want to do this?" Lucien spat out some blood that had formed in his mouth.

Swinging around her sword, she stood in a fighting stance and beckoned the blond man forward. Grinning wildly, Lucien got into position. Letting out an angered yell, he charged for Lyria, raising his sword as he did so. One moment she was there, the next she was gone.

Not even giving him the chance to turn, Lyria slammed the butt of her sword into his spine. Arching his back in pain, he let out a dangerous growl before swirling on the spot and turning to face her. She was not in the same spot she was a second ago. Leaning against the pillar Lucien had previously slid into, Lyria gave the furious Pirate a coy smile. Even going as far as to wink at him.

Getting bored of toying with him, Lyria decided to let him catch her at least once. Waiting as he charged at her once more, she smirked as her back connected with the wooden wall. Placing his arm down on her throat, Lucien applied some pressure to ensure Lyria didn't escape.

"What is it with your crew and this move?" Lyria rolled her eyes before jabbing him in the throat and reversing their positions.

However, when she applied pressure, Lucien struggled for breath. Kneeing her in the gut, Lyria pretended to double over and as Lucien went to attack again, she used her speed to block his arm, twisting it behind his back. Pinning him to the wall, Lyria pressed her body against Lucien's preventing him from escaping. Or attacking.
