My eyes slowly opened, memory of what happened flowing through my mind. I took a second to glance around, and I realized I was in Jeff's bed.

No one was there, it was just me. I had stitches on my shoulder and I was covered in bandages. I was so sore, and my injuries burned slightly.

I slowly sat up, groaning. One question flitted through my mind.

Did I pass? I thought nervously, stiffly getting to my feet.

I opened the door and walked down the hall, trying to keep from wincing. That stupid little Rake. But thankfully it was nothing extremely serious. If I stretched and ran some then the soreness should ease.

As I was walking I couldn't help but hear a conversation going on nearby. I wasn't much of an eavesdropper, but it caught my attention.

"Why do you hate her so much anyway?" I heard a voice ask. I couldn't quite tell who it was, but I could guess who they were talking to. Their voices were muffled, so it was hard to tell who was who.

"I-well.. she is just so.. irritating." I assumed that was Jeff.

"Lately I've been thinking of giving her a little surprise. She can't keep her eyes off me." another muffled voice chuckled.

Surprise? I knew that wasn't good. Who was that? I pressed my ear against the door.

"Don't." Jeff's muffled voice said in a threatening tone.

"Why would you care anyway? I thought she was irritating." The voice mocked.

"She is!" came the muffled retaliation.

"Well then, if you hate her so much you wouldn't care."

"Fine! Do whatever you want." Jeff fumed, I could hear it clearly as he raised his voice.

I heard someone's footsteps coming to the door, and I instantly moved away. I sped walked down the hallway before anyone found out I was eavesdropping.

"Surprise? What did they mean by that?" I muttered. I decided to keep a lookout and stay cautious.

I pushed it to the back of my mind and I knocked on the door to Slenderman's office.

    "You may enter."

I pushed the door open and walked in.

"Take a seat." Slenderman offered. I sat down, unable to think straight.

    "Something bothering you?" he asked.

    "Did-did I pass?" I dodged his question.

"Of course you did, child." Slenderman chuckled, "You passed the tests without dying, didn't you?"

I honestly didn't know what to think. I had to serve this guy for the rest of my life. How did I actually feel?

"Yeah.." I got up, unsure of what my life had come to.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" I heard Slenderman ask.

I nodded, exiting the room before he could question anything else.

    "(Y/N), g-g-get sl-slend-y. He-he's got a-a vis-vis-visitor!" I sighed and turned back around, knocking on the door.

"Someone's at the door for you." I said, already down the hall and sitting at the kitchen table. I was curious as to who was visiting.

A couple other proxies came down the hall as well, probably trying to see who was at the door like me. BEN sat at the kitchen counter next to me.

Jeff sat on the couch, eyeing BEN for whatever reason. Slenderman made his way down the hallway, and Ticci Toby moved out of the doorway.

A tall man that looked almost exactly like Slenderman stood. He had two empty black eye sockets and a hollowed out black smile. He had colorful spots all over his suit and top hat, but despite his happy appearance he seemed worried.

"Splendor?" Slenderman asked, stepping aside and letting Splendor inside.

"We need to talk!" Splendor said urgently, grabbing Slenderman's hand and dragging him to his office. Slenderman reluctantly followed, but I couldn't help but wonder what was so important.

"What was that all about?" I asked BEN.

"That's Slendy's brother, Splendy. He has a couple others but none of them ever visit." he shrugged, smirking slightly.

Everyone else looked a little surprised at the visit as well. Huh, so I guessed maybe they did care a smidge.

I caught Jeff's eye, but he just looked away. I groaned inwardly. I hadn't ever done anything to him.

I was the last to get up and leave. I had literally nothing to do. So I decided to go hunt.

I wasn't exactly ready to brutally slaughter innocent humans, so when I say hunting I mean hunting animals to eat. I wasn't used to eating raw meat, either, but in my wolf form it didn't taste bad at all.

As I was searching for a good place to hunt, I wondered why Splendorman came. Was he trying to warn us? He did sound pretty urgent.

I shrugged it off, focusing on hunting. But my mind wouldn't stop racing. It was so stressful living in Slender Mansion. You always had to watch your back, you had to constantly worry about making enemies, and I also had to worry about the 'surprise'.

I forced it out of my brain, shifting into my wolf and scenting the air. An unusual smell hit my nose. It didn't smell like anything I had ever scented before.

Except it was vaguely familiar. It was faint, but I was able to follow it. I kept my ears pricked and my eyes peeled. I mean, you never know if it could be dangerous.

The scent started getting stronger as I approached the trees. I looked up and scanned the woods. My heart jumped in my chest when I spotted something. A wolf.

I strained to see what it looked like. A million questions ran through my mind.

Is it a werewolf? Is there more of my kind?!

From what I could see it had light brown pelt, but I couldn't see much. It was sniffing the air and crouching behind a bush, staring at something.

I decided to get a little closer. I wanted to see if it was as big as I. A snap under my foot caused it's head to shoot up and look toward my direction.

I froze, but it had already seen me. We made eye contact for a second or two before it whirled around and sprinted away.

No! I thought, beginning to chase it. Leaves sprayed behind me and twigs snapped, probably alerting all the prey in the forest. Hunting was out of the window by then, so if I didn't catch the wolf then I wasted energy for nothing.

I could see it's brown tail disappear into a thorn bush from ahead. I sped up and dove under it, a few thorns snagging my pelt.

I heard it yip and assumed it stepped on one of the stray briars. I took my opportunity and I scrambled out from the bush. By the time I was completely free the wolf was already on top of a grassy hill a ways away.

It looked at me and dipped its head, then lifted its head to the sky and released a wolf-cry.

I felt an urge to join it. Such a strong urge it was almost impossible to keep my head straight. At that moment I knew that I was not the only werewolf in this world.
