I shook my head, snapping out of my trance. "BEN? BEN are you here?" I took deep breathes, trying to calm my overwhelming fear. It felt like the world was closing in on me. Put your hands over your eyes and you'll see what I saw. Nothing. Just inky black darkness.

I stretched my arms, expecting to have a little space, but all I felt was rock. I wrapped my arms around myself.

"BEN?" I called again, trying to ignore my surroundings. This was all just a nightmare, I assured myself.

"Ngh.. he should have at least given me a little warning.." I heard a pained voice from behind me.

"We're going to die." I puffed, feeling around. Sharp, jagged rocks sliced my palms as my struggles became more desperate.

"Slendy wouldn't kill me. Besides, I'm too hot to die." he said, causing me to scoff.

I fell to the ground, my breathing shallow. We had to get out.

    "I hate this.." I said.

"You think I volunteered to do this?" he responded, "Laying around and panicking isn't going to help."

"You're right.." my chest felt tight, but I made sure I calmed myself down. I couldn't prove useless.

I slowly pulled myself up and took a step forward. It felt like there was some more space and a little more air up ahead.

"I think we should go this way." I said, almost positive. But who was I kidding? I had been locked away almost all my life.

"Lead the way." BEN replied, feeling around my upper back until his hands landed on my shoulders.

I wasn't so sure if we were going to live, but I wasn't going to die afraid. I reached forward and took careful steps forward. Sure enough, nothing was in front of us.

After what felt like hours of clueless fumbling around and me trying to be calm, we had to bend lower. At this point, we were crouching.

"BEN, I don't think I can do this." I fretted, feeling the air sucked out of my lungs once again.

"You're fine." he snorted, "Just keep moving forward."

"How reassuring." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes before getting to my knees and crawling into the small space. There was no way I was going to die.

The tunnel started getting smaller and smaller. I held my breath, pushing through. All my instincts told me to turn around and scream until I broke my voice box.

"I hate this so f*cking much!" I cursed, realizing that I needed to lay on my stomach to keep on going.

What if this is a dead end? I panicked mentally, What if I get trapped?

I laid on my stomach and slithered forward, doing an army crawl. I pushed all doubts out of my head, focusing on my breathing.

"I agree." BEN huffed from behind.

I didn't reply. I didn't want my uneasiness to show in my voice.

We had to army crawl in silence for what felt like years, until finally it started getting wider. I gasped, crawling even faster to get to the open space.

"What's got you so excited?" BEN grunted.

"It's opening up!" I said back, smiling.

I shuffled forward and got to my feet. I could stand at my full height!

Ben pushed himself up and stood beside me.

"Let's keep on moving. We aren't going to get anywhere just standing here." he groaned. I could tell he was in a bad mood. I didn't blame him.

    "You're right." I agreed.

I started forward again, BEN right behind me. We only took a couple more steps before BEN froze behind me. He held onto my shoulders, restricting me from moving.

"What is it?" I growled, trying to push his hands off me.

"Do you hear that?" he asked quietly. I listened, but couldn't hear anything but the eerie silence.

I didn't understand what he was talking about.

"LOOK OUT!" I heard a voice yell. Jeff? What the hell was he doing there?

I whipped around, but right as Jeff reached us, I felt a hard object fall into my head. The last thought I had was, I can't believe this is how I'm going to die.
