4. Summer

Bwesit na Ansel na 'to. Ang corny ng kumag. Honestly, it's great that somehow I learned a lot from him about ways to deal with girls. But no, I am not going to be as effin corny and cheesy as him. Sapat na 'yong alam ko na kung paano kunin ang loob ng isang babae, kung paano niya ako mapapansin at kung paano manligaw. I'm not planning to court her by the way but you know, just in case. But no, it's really impossible. I don't think I will ever be up for a relationship. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero ayoko ng commitment.

The girl creased her forehead and I took my time to get again a glimpse of Maddy. She's no longer looking at me. Her attention's back on the jerk.

She looks cool for a girl. Anyway, not long after a minute, I returned my attention on Maddy. But when I turned to where she was earlier, she's no longer there.

"How did it go?" Nakangiting tanong ni Ansel nang makabalik ako ng kotse.

"Yeah. Thanks dude. It worked. She's in love with me."

"What? Is that for real?" The idiot snapped cheerfully. "Ang bilis naman."

"Gago. Ever heard of sarcasm? Tsk."

Because of that event, I stopped thinking about Maddy. Besides, Ansel is right from the very start. She is a waste of time. So then, the rest of the summer were good days. The three of us did our old habits; went to random places, took beautiful girls with us and just enjoyed. Ang bilis nga ng panahon e. Today will be the last day of summer. Tomorrow, it'll be back to school. Guess what? I met the girl in black again, this time, under a bad circumstance.
