Veronica walked around the club twice but still couldn't find Riley, she pulled out her phone to call her when a hand held her rear. Completely dumbfounded by this sudden action she jumped around. There stood the man, tall, tone. One could see he worked out by how his shirt hugged him, shaping each muscle on his arm. His dark hair made his grey eyes stand out above his cheek bones. A jawline that could give papercuts. Veronica thought, shaking her head she looked back at him with a very bored expression.

"Hey honey, saw you walk by and I was..." The man spoke but Veronica cut him short.

"Thinking you could somehow touch me without my consent?" Veronica put her hands on her hips and looked up at the man that was towering over her. "No bro, that is not how shit works."

"Babe you don't have to play hard to get, I already want you." He said rapping his arm around her waist and pulling her against his chest.

"Get the fuck off me!" She said banging on his chest.

"Come on babe." He held her closer.

"Yeah dude, the lady said back off." Another voice said, coming from behind them. The brute turned and face the voice. The body to which the voice belonged was hidden by the brute. The two were quite still for a moment before the brute spoke.

"I'm sorry, sir." His voice trembled with fear, the two stayed silent for another moment before the brute ran off through the crowd. Veronica followed him with her eyes, trying to figure out why he had ran off.

"I am sorry that he bothered you." Said the voice. Veronica turned to face him. She stepped back when she noticed that he stood only inches away from her.

He was tall, but not taller then the brute but he still towered over her. Hair as black as coal. Green eyes that looked like glowing emeralds. Lips that were the perfect shade of pink and a jawline that looked as if the gods had sculpted it out of granite. His body tone and fit. And he dressed to impress, with a smart casual look. Blue jeans, skintight black v-neck t-shirt and what seemed to be a blazer. Veronica looked at him and had the feeling she has seen him before. She looked back at his eyes before she spoke.

"Thanks for the assistance." She gave a polite smile before dialing Riley's number. "Hey... Where are you?.. What are you doing there?.. Dude you ditched me!.. How do I get home?.. No you stupid fuck, you were my ride... I am not hijacking a car... Because I'm sloshed you ignorant cake... Nevermind, I'll make a plan. Don't get pregnant... Ohk, love you bye." Veronica ended the call and sighed.

"Sorry to intrude." Said the man in front of her.

"Oh shit you're still here." She said realizing that he was. "Sorry that came out rude. Um... Thanks for the help with that oaf."

"Don't mention it." He said politely smiling. "Sorry, I couldn't help but over hear your conversation on the phone. Do you need a ride home?"

"Oh..." Veronica laughed awkwardly. "No thank you, I can still stand. I'll manage alright thanks."

"Please I insist, how can I leave you to your own knowing full well that you are 'sloshed'."

"Ohk, I shall take you up on your offer. But I do expect you not to be a pervert." The two of them laughed. Veronica could not shake the feeling that she saw him before.

"Alec." He said offering his hand. Veronica looked at him confused. "Alec is my name."

"Veronica." She said shaking his hand. The two stood still for a moment before Veronica shook her head and cleared her throat. "So... Your car?" She asked when they entered the parking lot.

"Oh, yeah." He said pulling out his phone. "Bring it around." a few minutes after he put the phone down a black, two thousand Eighteen supra, with silver trimmings, came around the corner. "This would be us."

"Mmm, ohk." Veronica said following behind him. A blond jumped out the drivers seat and walked over to Alec. "Mr No-Shirt." Veronica spoke before her brain could stop her.

"Excuse me?" The blue eyes beauty asked.

"Nothing, my friend has just told me a lot about you."

"Your friend?"

"Bowman, Riley Bowman."

"Oh." The blond smiled to himself. "She talks about me?"

"Yeah but she never mentions your name. We call you Mr No-Shirt, because every time you guys talked you never wore a top." Veronica explained. Alec laughed slightly and the blond looked embarrassed.

"Oh, my name is..." Veronica covered his mouth before he could finish.

"No, if she wanted to tell me your name she would. So I will not hear it unless it comes from her."

"How nice." Alec smiled. "Well we will be off now."
The blond nodded and walked away. Alec opened the door for Veronica and she stepped into the car.

They drove off in silence. Veronica kept looking over to Alec, trying to figure out where she had seen him.

"Where is our destination?" Alec spoke breaking the silence and Veronica's train of thought.

"Well, I am not sure."

"You don't know where you stay?" Alec asked confused.

"No." Veronica laughed. "I know where I live, I am just not sure that I would like to go there."

"And the reason for that is?"

"Probably going to be because I don't have keys."

Alec laugh. "How do you not have keys to your own place?"

"I do. They are with Riley and she is not around at the moment." Veronica looked at Alec once more and saw the face which she had been trying to remember. "Fuck!" She exclaimed throwing her head back against the seat.

"Is everything alright?" Alec asked slightly worried and a lot confused.

"You're Alec Black, son of William Black." Veronica held her hand over her eyes.
