"definitely not always straight to the point huh, logy?" dee said, a frown replacing their smile. logan felt like as if he heard the nickname before. 

dee stepped back and crossed his arms. "well, i am not friends with virgil. everyone knows that." a hint of sarcasm could be heard from his tone. the silver-tongue then looked away. "can we not change the topic now?"

logan took notice the abrupt avoidance of the topic. "no, not yet. are you sure there are no more people here that has a link to you?"

dee became silent for a moment before answering. "yes." 

".....well then. i shall take my leave now." logan said, still feeling suspiscious of the brunette. dee smiled once more and spoke before returning to the darkness of the hallway. "alrighty. let's meet not again some sunny day~.."

later that day at the house, logan reviewed the last two pages from the letters sent to him, sitting on the sofa near the couch which was occupied by a sleeping virgil. the fourth page was a neat crayon drawing of a unicorn with glasses. the way it was drawn was different from the one at the second page, which could possibly mean that two different people drew the images.

logan once again tried to deduce as to who sent him the package. unfortunately, he failed like before. with a defeated expression, he went to the last page, which was another letter.

"dear logan,

i really miss your smile. 

your little laughs, your proud expressions whenever you got something right or wanted.

i miss the old days

your smile makes me happy and makes my day brighter.

seeing you happy is enough for me linger around.

seeing you happy makes me happier despite the cold weather

i want to see that smile again
