Lucky

"Excuse me is this one of yours"? I looked up from washing my car and saw her face. She was holding my shirt that I had threw in her yard "I think the wind blew it in my yard". Damn she was just as fine as my cousin told me she was. "Sir"? She said again I snapped out of it "um yea thanks I'm from the south I was raised on hanging clothes on the line I guess today's just to windy for that huh"? She smiled "yea your new to the neighborhood right"?
        He nodded wiping his hands and then holding it out to shake "my name is Naceem but everybody calls me Lucky". She nodded and replied with a grin "nice to meet you I'm Roxanne". He looked her in the eyes and said to her "nice to meet you Roxanne since I moved in last week I wanted to know who this lovely lady was with the two little girls"?
        She chuckled "those are my one year old twins Braylen and Brianna". He stepped back and checked her out "twins you don't even look like it" she smiled he was starting to love that smile "yea well that was a year ago so I had some time to kill the weight, but um this one nice house you moved yourself into. What you got a family or something I heard this house got like six bedrooms"?
       "Seven and nah it's just me and my two dogs and my cat whiskers". She raised a eyebrow "you really bought this house for just you"? He didn't want to tell the real reason, so he just made up something "yea eventually I plan on starting a family here, so it won't just be me, but what about you"?
        She swallowed hard before answering "it's just me and my girls their father was killed before they were born. I wanted to move, but I couldn't find the strength to". He saw how her mood changed talking about it "well now that I know I got a gorgeous neighbor like you next door I might stop being a stranger" she smirked "yea don't be a stranger were the only negros in this neighborhood anyway we gotta stick together" we both laughed "you have a nice day Lucky" I nod and wave "you to Pl..... Roxanne". 
        "Damn I almost slipped up". I whispered to myself my plan had worked . I had officially met Plump well Roxanne .

Naomi

       "What your mom want this time"? Corey asked me "asking to meet up again and apologizing for the camera crew". Corey sucked his teeth "you know I'm down for you meeting your real mom and shit, but I'll be damn if you and Cori get dragged into some media frenzy. I mean Cori's only two I don't want that". Naomi nods "baby I know but I don't trust her for some reason".
       Corey sat beside her in bed "what you mean"? Naomi replied "when I saw this hoe before she knew who I was and what not she was living in a fucking trailer park, smoking cigarettes and drinking beer. When I saw her that day at that restaurant with that fucking camera crew she looked well put together and when I followed the women home she wasn't in no fucking trailer park, but in a nice ass townhouse".
        Corey laughed "oh shit she must've got a Lifetime movie check" Naomi sucked her teeth "man I'm being serious she's pushing this meeting cause she promised them people some shit , before getting my approval". Corey sigh "damn bae well I already told you how I fucking felt about the whole situation, but you gotta decided for you".
Naomi laid in bed all night with the two loves of her life. At five forty five in the morning she came to the decision maybe right now wasn't a good time for her and her mother to have a sit down even though she's been pushing it off for two years right now still wasn't the right time . When will that day be Naomi couldn't even tell herself .
